Then, his other brilliant questions was, "Are you really pregnant? Are these lines REALLY sure?"

Poor guy. His hands were shaking like leaves on a tree. LOL.

His first baby, but my daughter turns 11 at the end of the month.

im new to this (or any) board and id like to introduce myself.

ive been visiting this and h2o for about a month now, and it has been so therapeutic for me.

ive been inactive for about 2 years except for memorial and assemblies and those have only been for my siblings sake to help care for an aging parent.. i decided to join in and introduce myself because yesterday i read ozzies great post on restrictions on march 23 pm and got so worked up by past memories of my experience with dfing and going through the humiliation of qualifying for reinstatement.

What most amazes me about our FREDHALL is the overwhelming love he shows to all! True Christianity! The clarity of the remarks he makes often overwhelms me!

we hopefully all agree it is wrong to reject an entire race because we have found one of its member to be flawed, or to reject an entire concept an the basis of finding a flaw in its argument.

would not fair people look for a way to accept the good in the concept, modify the flawed portion and rejoice in what was gained from the refined concept?

it would also be wrong, as the wt does, to reject an entire institution because some of its precepts are flawed.

Actually, Normie, when you mention Isreal and 1st century Christians, you're comparing apples to oranges.

1. If we believe the account of the Bible, the only reason Isreal was God's chosen people was because of a promise made to Abraham. The Bible refers to Abraham as a 'friend' of God's. As soon as that promise was fulfilled, there was no longer room for any 'chosen people' (Acts 10:34)

2. Nowhere in the Christian Greek Scriptures do we see a command by our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ, to form exclusive groups known as 'congregations.' No that piece of brilliance was again, courtesy of Paul, who had his own idea about how Christians should be organized.

Now, if God always uses an organization who was he using PRIOR to the existence of CTR & the WBTS?

Unresolved anger or overwhelming sadness?

well, which is it guys?.

are you filled with anger at the wbts or just sad that things aren't what you though they were?.

i'm very sad that my parents won't talk with my sister (da'd) or my brother (df'd) even though the society's own web-site says that such actions do not sever family ties.

I'm very sad that my parents won't talk with my sister (da'd) or my brother (df'd) even though the Society's own web-site says that such actions DO NOT SEVER FAMILY TIES. That's just there to be politically correct if you ask me. It doesn't affect the thousands of xjw's who have no contact with their family because of the directive that's given from the platform.

I'm sad too, that I'm watching my parents age and am facing the possibility of their death in 'this system.' I am trying to come to terms with that rapidly, as time waits for no one.

Perhaps we label people as 'angry' when really, it's just a profound sadness and incredulity they're facing.
