  I would love for this to be large colonies of photosynthetic microorganisms. These vanish in the martian winter and return in the martian summer! At the moment, most scientists hypothesize that they're CO2 geysers. I'm no geologist, but so far, I don't know of any geological events that positively correlate with seasonal change. Anything is possible, though! It could be a CO2 thaw, but I'm surprised the vapor isn't pure white. We've all seen dry ice, right? It's white and sublimes into a beautiful cloud-white vapor.

  My only question on the geyser theory is this: Where are the shadows? If these are giant plumes, shadows would be visible emerging from their bases. Shadows are detectable on large natural and man-made objects from Google Earth, so where are the shadows here? (yeah, you can tell i'm really hoping it's microbial life, can't you?)

  Cars are banned for purchase or driving.

  Use of: car exhaust, electricity generated from the battery, the cool from the AC, the heat from the heater, the radio, CD and mp3 ports, the cup holders, the glove compartment, the trunk, the comfy seats, arm rests, mirrors and the spare tire are all acceptable if your conscience allows you to use them--provided it's from a donated or borrowed vehicle. And you can't share these comforts with anyone else.

  Car factories? oh, well... yeah, those are fine.

  Bovine blood, huh? I thought even animal blood must be "poured upon the ground." In addition to refusing human blood for transfusion, animal blood must not be eaten. It too must be removed and properly disposed. How do they justify this case when the product was made with bovine plasma (one of the WBTS 4 main forbidden components of blood)?

  The fact that bone marrow (where blood is actually made) transplants are a conscience matter for JWs proves that the GB has little to no understanding of basic biology and medical science.

  The fact that every blood sacrifice in the Bible was an atonement (including Jesus's), meaning the animal from which the blood was spilled died, also shows the glaring error of JW interpretation on this doctrine. The people who donate blood or chose to preserve and store their own do not die. Therefore, no atonement sacrifice was made, assigning no sacred nature to the blood used in transfusions.

  Jimmy Swaggart. Peter Popoff. Oral Roberts. ...those are the "christendom" nutjobs I was trained by our own literature and my family to ridicule and identify as false! When I met Steve a few years ago, I thought to myself, "Oh. My. GOD. ...he's no different than the funny guys my sister and I used to laugh at on the UHF Jesus channels!"

  How did he ever survive the TMS? Remember when they'd give "Gs" or "Ws" back in the day? Did any school overseer ever call him out on looking like a complete LOON? How did the GB select him, anyway? I know he was a CO at one point, but god DAMN. If I were on the GB and looking for potential guys to "tap" for membership, I'da been the first one to say, "Wait. Hold up. We have a certain image to maintain, do we not? This guy's bizarre behavior on the platform will make people think they're in some kind of nutty CULT."

  When I hear the term "cult" to describe JWs, his face is always the picture that pops into my head. Could you imagine if Ronmey or Obama behaved like him in a presidential debate? It would kill his chances at ever being considered. How can anyone in the audience at a CA or DC take this man seriously? I've seen a few of his talks in different states across the USA and my friends always start laughing and say something to the effect if, "What's WITH THIS GUY???"
