Tv's in Kingdom hall

so now that the borg has taken all of the congregations money, there was just a resolution to get all new tv's, etc for the stage for the new meeting format.. i wasn't there, but it was a large sum.

somebody mentioned over 3000$.. all the congregations in the city are likely doing the same thing, and are getting all the equipment from bethel.. i was wondering if this was happening all most everywhere?.

can't see it in third world countries( might not even have internet).

No one stands to profit from this. All installation labor will be on volunteered time. Hell, the monitors are probably furnished by a JW supplier who is expected to donate the equipment or sell it at a steep discount

...my opinion? I have no idea what would happen with that.
but here's what I do know. with precision and 100% accuracy, I make the following statement, not as a bold assertion, but as irrefutable fact:
mike and kim would go out of their way searching for another "scandal" to target cedars with and to fan the flames that foment discord among fellow exjws because that's what mike and kim do. They are poison, they are trouble makers and, in my opinion based on observation, they have social disorders and mental issues. In every hypothetical scenario, they'd be there doing the same shitty things with their same shitty attitudes with their same shitty daughter and douchebag husband (who are both just as nuts, in my opinion) on their same shitty videos.
they are like westboro: only relevant as long as we continue discussing them. By discussing them, we legitimize them. They're not legitimate; they're illegitimate, spiteful, ill mannered degenerates who've done more harm than good. One of these days, mike and kim will declare war on the wrong enemy and they'll be exposed for who they really are.
Ill get get the popcorn ready because that'll be one hell of an enjoyable thing to see.

(and yes, going to church is always bad, but not for the reasons JWs say. Play with snakes & you're gonna get bit eventually. ALL churches--ALL--have their own self-serving agenda based on lies. Whether it's an innocent ice cream social or a kindly seasonal play, their ploy is to lure you in. And if you have a young son, he should especially avoid such places if you don't want him preyed upon by sex predators.)

i literally have 0 friends, actually i've never had any close friends.

its really started to get to me.

i homeschool and my parents keep me super isolated and all the other kids at my hall are complete a**holes!!

Ouch. That's a tough situation.
theres a great exjw subreddit too where you may find others closer to your age (I assume you're a teenager if you're still homeschooling). They have several google hangouts or meet up in games on ps4 or XBox.
my only strong advice is to be very careful reaching out to anyone online when you're a minor and in such a vulnerable state--including this forum or anywhere else. Don't give real info about yourself, location or any other details that could identify you. Not only do you need to stay off the JW radar, but no place on the internet is immune from having people with other bad motives. Just sayin!
and oh yeah: always always always remember to erase your browsing history, sign off and/or log off from any device after you visit an exjw forum, ok? Phone, iPad, laptop--all it takes is one time to forget, grab a snack in the next room and have someone in your family discover your apostasy. It's a big mess and I've seen it happen to kids on here before.
Take care and it will get better eventually.
