i put those terms in scare quotes to demonstrate the thought process of anyone enforcing this policy. A quick perusal of my other comments on this thread easily show that this letter is ridiculous.

The term is vague. Metrosexual can simply be a guy who takes care of his appearance & hygiene. It can also include people who look like Bronies (if you don't know what a brony is... Google it lol).
i always identified as metro because I took great care in putting outfits together. I was and still am a big GQ enthusiast. And I always got compliments. Great ties, fantastic knots, silk or linen suits, collar stays, cuff links, modest silver bracelet, nice watch, creed cologne, and aveda skin products. I looked, smelled and felt great. Hell, I even use a cuticle trimmer so my hands don't look busted up. Compare that to the balled up & faded polyester walmart suits most window washing elders wore, I think I represented the bOrg much better! I think it's safe to say that ToMo3 wants everyone to look like him: pear-shaped and frumpy.
so, if they're going to crack down on "metrosexuals," I'd begin with multiple rings! That's something I never did, but the GB really likes that bling.

The CO outline also mentions "bearing." So this includes going after people for their posture, the way they stand, sit & walk--all subjectively determined.
i respectfully disagree with Simon's approach on this. This now gives elders official license directly from headquarters to bully. I had an elder at a former hall who loved going after guys & asking them if they were gay. He had a pet peeve. Now that ToMo3 has made his own personal pet peeves a matter of official doctrinal policy, it's open season on everyone. And the fact they're targeting such a volatile & sensitive topic as gender identity in our progressive age of 2015, they're really going to look out of touch. I'm glad they're making a big deal over this, because it's going to make them look crazy. Unfortunately in the meantime, many loyal dubs are going to experience very damaging bullying.

I always feel for the old-timers; some even widows & widowers. Now old with limited fixed income, the main source of spiritual food is online. How are they expected to get modern TVs with HDMI, subscribe to Roku, get a tablet or computer--then learn how to use it? I've seen nothing in any recent articles about special arrangements for them to learn the new tech or even meet & view the monthly broadcasts.
And for any older folks who feel left behind at the latest rebranding, they can't complain. Since 2007/08, there are paragraphs in WT articles subtly hinting at massive changes and how we must accept them even if they don't make sense from a human standpoint. The bOrg has known and been planning all of this for 7 or 8 years now.
