  there is no jehovah. but there is a YHWH.

  the person giving it told me it was the best description of the experience he had went through which involved entering and exiting the watchtower over the course of only a few years.. .

  i wish we could slip something into thier drinks that would undo the brainwash. like lsd or mushrooms.

  i also wish their was a "incantation" type of de-hypnotising them. if you could say "by the power of Christ, he command you to think" or some mantra.

  in the bible book of Tobit, the archangel Raphael says to burn a fish liver to expell a demon, because they cannot stand the smell and they will flee from even a hint of the smell of a burning fish liver.

  anyone tried this method?

  can't knock it till you try it i guess.

  Help! My brother wants to hate me.

  tonight i tried to contact my blood brother.

  i am 32 he is 30.. he was baptised at 10 and df'd at 12, 22 and now he would have been again but he walked away.. i made no progress with our reunite.

  he's hating on me for leaving the family.

  after letting the conversation settle, and thinking about the things said, yes he is trying to manipulate me with guilt.

  he used the "poor me" card when he was dealing with his wife and the divorce. i had to help her to understand his manipulations on her. he was able to make her feel it was her fault he cheated. always shifting the blame.

  when we were kids, my parents used to scream and argue at eachother multiple times a week. me and my bro would listen to them fight from the next room. my father would try to use logic in the arguements and my mother would bash his logic with gult trips until he fumbled.

  me and my bro would pretend it was a boxing match betwwen them. i would be my father and my bro would play my mother. and whenever dad made a good point i would pretend to swing a knockout punch at my bro. when my mom would come back with a guilt trip retort, my bro would get the knockout punch on me. it was a game we played to deal with the unconforatbleness of the fights.

  but i think my bro learned how to guilt trip from that. and i learned logical debate.

  my parents were phanatical jws. not even the jw's in our hall were good enough association for us. so we had to make up games to entertain us.

  i think i'm gonna send him a message stating that i am offering assitance, but i will not allow him to guilt me over things that happened when i was 15 and younger.

  how many of you hold a grudge against a 15 year old? not really sane to do so.

  my brother has told me about having demon attacks in his life. i think i'm battleing invisible forces as well.

  so to all poster that have responded, all your words have been helpful.

  i thinkn you can see the situation from where you are.

  Trust in information on the web is being damaged by the huge numbers of people paid by companies to post comments online, say researchers.

  Fake posters can "poison" debate and make people unsure about who they can trust, the study suggests.

  Some firms have created tens of thousands of fake accounts to flood chat forums and skew debate.

  The researchers say there are reliable ways to spot fakes and urge websites to do more to police users.

  The researchers from Canada and China say paying people to post comments is an "interesting strategy in business marketing" but it is not a benign activity.

  "Paid posters may create a significant negative effect on the online communities, since the information from paid posters is usually not trustworthy," they wrote.

  Battles

  In some cases, rival companies have used competing armies of workers to wage comment wars that confused members of the public looking for unbiased information.

  The researchers say the fake comments can overwhelm some users, causing them to find it hard to trust any information found online.

  They give the example of a spike in activity on a World of Warcraft chat forum on the Chinese website Baidu.

  A thread titled "Junpeng Jia, your mother asked you to go back home for dinner!" received over 300,000 replies over a two day period.

  A PR company later claimed it had employed 800 individuals to run 20,000 separate accounts on the site to help maintain interest in the videogame while it was down for maintenance.

  Growing problem

  While the practice of flooding forums with fake comments is most widespread in China, where such posters are called the Internet Water Army, it is becoming common in other nations too.

  The US military is known to use fakes to infiltrate chat forums to gather information about potential terror groups.

  Similarly many Facebook pages are plagued by bogus friends and "social bots" that are used to stage debates.

  Many marketing firms also seed forums with comments in a bid to create "viral" interest in a company or event.

  However, fakes can be spotted by analysing their patterns of activity and the words they use, say the researchers.

  Fakes are more likely to start new comment threads, make inane comments rather than add to a debate, and repeat former comments with minor changes, the study suggests.

  The researchers say they are refining software tools to help website administrators tackle the "painful" problem.
