At school!
Actually Steven was still at school, in the 6th Form. He was a friend of my sister's and I met him at a 6th Form disco. He was 16 and I was 18, that was over 17 years ago. His parents didn't think it would last!

just a small request to you all.. britian is not england.. england is a part of britian, as is wales, scotland .a lot of what you may think is english is in fact welsh or scotish.. it is like me refering to the usa as new york .. if this carries on i'll have no other choice but to call the usa canada.
Hi Iggy,
I've sent you an email.
Yep, Bletchley born and bred! Why do you ask? We live in East Northamptonshire now about 15 minutes from Northampton.
I remember that now about the concrete cows!
Milton Keynes has changed a lot since we moved 4 years ago. My daughter is at MK Theatre tonight with her grandmother watching Joseph and his Technicolour Dreamcoat (or whatever it's called!)

Expatbrit,
Yes, as far as I know. It would be too much to ask, for Milton Keynes to have real cows!
I really shouldn't say negative things about the place cos a lot of my family live there.....
but I was glad to move!

sleepy,
The roundabouts in Milton Keynes all look the same, they had to name them so people know where they're at! Awful place! I'm actually from an old town which was swallowed up by Milton Keynes. I was glad to move!

Hi iggy,
Are you from Milton Keynes? or are you just being sarcastic about the place? People usually are!
We used to live there until a few years ago.
i remember the date, may 15, 1991, it was the date my wife miscarried and a young life was lost.
there was no funeral, few remarks of support.
i will never forget the remark of my mother, well it never was really a baby after all.
I lost a baby in May 1989 when I was 4 months pregnant. I still feel the pain of that loss, even though I have had 3 children since then. I tell my children about the baby and how it was never meant to be. Even now I remember the excitement I felt at being pregnant and the intense love I felt for my unborn child.
i like you american ,aussies and other foriegners, but why are there so few british people here?.

I don't bother much, cos I get fed up with all the childishness and bickering that goes on here! I get enough of that from my 3 children! If I posted what I really think about some of the comments on this board then I'd probably get started on! I've read lighthearted threads that have turned into slanging matches, cos some people obviously get a thrill from being abusive. Sad! Seems a waste of time to me!
anyone here who enjoys listening to opera music?.
i was just recalling the film pretty woman when richard gere takes julia roberts to see la traviata.
he tells her that she will either love or hate it.
ashi,
So, I LOVE opera. Really touches a deep part of me.I totally agree!
Englishman,
Lesley Garrett is just brilliant!
When I was in America, I tried the Reese's Peanut Butter cups, and thought they were awful, yet I liked Reese's Pieces (or whatever they are called). I love Butterfingers.
My favourite is any variety of Cadbury's chocolate.
