i just found out about an hour ago.
he wasn't even old enough to drink yet.. to make it even sh*ttier, he had called me a few weeks ago and asked if he could come out here with me but i couldn't do it at the time.
so of course the first thing that comes to mind is if i had done something different it wouldn't have happened.. he was going through the sh*t as i call it, when witnesses go off the deep end and get into everything in the world to stop hurting and they don't even know what is wrong.
There really is no adequate words to express how sorry I am to hear of your loss. To face a loved ones death is painful, but especially when it is someone so young, and had their whole life ahead of them. Just know that you are in my thoughts and prayers.
I have to agree with you when you say F**k them, you are going as you are. Please do in your brothers honor, be who you are. You do not have to play by their rules. Good luck we are here for you.

mostly i put it down to me being bad.

I am so glad Crumpet you faced your fears, and got the intervention that you need. With medication and counseling you can have a full and productive life. It is no different that any other medical illness, it is a chemical imbalance. You have no control of it, you just need the correct chemicals put back into your system, and your good to go.
Just know that we are thinking of you, and I am proud of your willingness to print your story since it will help others. We sure still have a stigma attached to even whispering mental illness. It keeps people from getting the help that they need.

i'm shocked by how many people i know who live in larger towns that do not lock their doors or windows.....do you?
Wow Susan.......I work with cops all the time, when they stop by my house they are forever telling me to lock up...you need better security etc. I guess when you work and see the dark side of humanity, you don't trust anyone.
For the question...I always lock up at night, but not during the day. Probably not bright. I never lock my car unless I have something in it. My husband locks his all the time, and his car is the one they broke into.

hello all, just wanted to fill you in on the situation with my mother.. she's doing good now after having the emergency surgery last week.
we're hoping that she can come home in a couple days.
her blood counts are still low but they have risen since the surgery.
Glad to hear that your mom is doing better. Just make sure she gets the sleep, and care that she needs to gain her strength back. Loosing alot of blood makes you extremely tired. Keep us posted on how you both are holding up.

at our post office in our home town there every day is an approximately 65 to 70 year old witness man who stands next to the post office entry door with the magazines wt & awake.

i'm brand spanking new to this forum.... my story is a long one that i will save for rainy day....however i will say i have been out for a long time 10+ years and when i left i really left.
i walked away at 20 (in my heart i was mentally gone at 17) and never really looked back much.
i was raised jw my father was an elder my mother an off and on pioneer (my father is no longer except he goes to the memorials, poor bastard and again thats another long story) i was not shunned by my parents both of whom were still very much in although my father left shortly after me and i would like to think that my bravery and courage allowed him to do the same.
