  MOUTHY'S DAUGHTER.....

  i just received a call from mouthy regarding her daughter's biopsy (for those of you who didn't know, she had a lump in her breast that they took out).

  it is benign, not malignant!!

  she's so busy with getting ready to move and company that she just didn't have time to post, but she really wanted to thank everyone for their help.

  I've been studying with JW's for a few months..

  i've been studying with the jw's for a few months and i've attended a few meetings but things are feeling somewhat strange...i don't quite get the jist of things but i feel that i'm learning more of what the watchtower teachers and less of what the bible actually says.. i never open my bible.. i'm always reading the watchtower pamphlets.

  i really like the people i've met in the congregation and the guy thats been doing the studies with me has been an awesome friend.. .

  but i'm just having some issues.. i mean.. they translated their own bible to suit their own doctrines it seems.

  i used to enjoy do paul illingsworth's talks.

  he thought he was a greek scholar.. anyone that you liked (or didn't)?.

  I liked Paul Illingworth also. He stayed in my home twice. The first time was his first time in the Circuit work. He is a very bright man, he also had a very dry sense of humor.

  Life lost

  i have previously posted on the subject of finding people who could help me get some testimonials from experienced jws who have been shunned by friends and family.

  this was my way of getting my daughter to wake up to the realities of what is going on with the organization she is associated with.

  much to my sadness, i have been notified by her husband that she died this morning of lung cancer.

  of course i'm talking about death.

  i know in the borg, since most people are cheap, or don't have money, there was always a push for cremation.

  i know my grandmother was cremated, as well as my father in law, and i think the issue was more for finances.

  I personally have no issue with cremation. What my issue is just throwing the remains helter skelter. The cemetaries are where history is. I tell my family to burn me up, just plant me someplace with my name. It is history for those that come after me, and there is a place for my kids, grandkids etc, can come.

  All of my family are JW's. Everyone of them that has passed they just plotted anyplace they wanted with no burial. Now I can't even talk to them, place flowers on a grave etc. They made sure all of their remains were plotted on their lands, so that no apostates could even get close. Apostate = me. So even in death they have kept my family from me.
