Would you say anything to someone that is accepting JW literature ?
by troubled mind inthere is a woman at the place i work that has studied off and on for several yrs with one of the jw employees .
today i was in her office and i noticed in her bookcase a collection of jw literature .
she has the insight books , a revelation book and some other brochures .

resistance is futile you wil be assimilated.you will join the collective.seriously tho. i'm in my mid 30's i have always had doubts etc. thats a different thread. but what really got me is when i got pissed at a kh/cong got bitter and then i allowed myself to look at everything taught from an unbiased view or should i say from the other side of the argument the one point that hit home and prooved it was the dates of 1914 and 1919. of course then you put beth sarim in the mix and everything ive read on that . i mean wiki says everything and you can cross check usually everything from there , its all over the web now. i mean how can they explain rutherford i mean if that clown showed up now theted string him up. before him they were a little wierd but he took them to a whole new level. oh ya i really do love attention! lol heehee

well i was half way seriuos about all that i just love attention. if i hadnt grew up jw i wouldve been an actor. seriuosly tho now that i had the scale fall off my eyes. shall i quote something i heard ' your eyes are bound to be open knowing good and bad" or something like that well it seems more are leaving lately.

by flipper ini would assume that some or a good number of us here as normal humans in this society - consider " lawless " actions to include murder , robbery, extortion, rape, child abuse, war , terrorism, etc.
the wt society has their own definition of what's considered " lawless ".
anything that's considered a disfellowshipping offense in the jehovah's witnesses is now considered " lawless ".

i hope i'm alive to see it prooved false to a greater degree. you know some kind of mass exodus would really show something . but knowing them that would solidify the staunch ones . maybe another thread but it also brings to mind that alot come back in and stay in cause its a family thing like being a catholic or greek orthodox a quasi ethenic thing in a warped sort of way. but ya i dont attend or claim it at all i openly critisize it except around a few poeple just to talk to my bro's. i want to b da'd. the 2 dudes i work with know i am bapt'd but i openly told them i'm inactive i have doubts and i blame it on relation /w/ dad etc that shuts them up. i've stumped them a couple times w/ questions they said you dont have to agree w/ everything you just know its the truth. ya they dont even know what they believe or how to defend it!i mean i dont know everything but at least i know that.

by foolsparadise inafter 33 years of being mind controlled at 5 meetings a week, field service meetings, special day assembly, curcuit assembly,district assembly, finding out "the truth" is just a big hoax is like getting punched in the stomach-uppercut in the jaw-being kicked in the balls from behind and then having the rug ripped out from under you and smashing your head on the ground.

germanxjw yes. everyone who is in in my fam has bipolar or anxiety disorder etc. and they kept trying to tell me i was. dude its like waking up inthe twilight zone . it was so wierd they wanted me to say i was crazy and get a dr. to give me something or they would say i was depressed when i am perfectly happy as long as im not near them. i felt like i was walking on eggshells cuz of all their crazy mind games!
