i have been studying with the jw's for over a year now, and attended 2 memorials and the district/assembly conventions.

there are 2 classes of ex Jehovahs witnesses
by the max inhi im part of a group of ex jh,s, we meet for drinks and dinner, go to football games.many of the guys do drugs,(i dont, i like sport) , most live very hedonistic lifestyles, lets leave it at that,(im happily married).
my point is, when i left, i was honest, and got df,d.
now im experiencing the same kind of shit that i experieced in the hall, the ex jw,s are just as judgemental, and stupid as when they were at the kingdom hall, for eg you were df,d we were not,it doesnt matter to them, that their doing coke and getting into group sex.

I agree with pirata and other similar posts. But I want emphasize thatthese guys you're hanging with have definite issues .Suppressed desires or something. Honestly ask yourself what you want out of life. I've been on both sides of the issues asked and from my experience you can't trust people like that whether exjw or excatholic or athiest or anything its just the hard parting lifestyle is no good for the user or the bystander. Next like has been said exjw's come in every shape and size.Like others i left because of false doctrine( I can't be half a jw the religion is not a half'ers religion just listen to any talk). i still believe in morality as do many others. I do believe there are those that left to fool around but hang on to most of the beliefs. I can't live that way.Others can I got too much to do worry about it. I should tell you I sowed my wild oats a while back and I lived a life where I looked over my shoulder that was not freedom. Being a witness has that affect on some if the conditions are rwrong one might trade the cult mind control for addictive control.Con quien andas te digo quien eres.

Homeschooling and JW children

its not very common here in the borough where i live.
i just found out on the grapevine that a girl i know is taking her kids out of our very good primary school because she feels the other children are having such a bad influence on her kids.

after me and mom got done having a deep discussion on the phone, i asked my mom a simple questions: who writes the watchtowers?
i've been going to the hall since i was three, and i have yet to have this questions answered.

Not to get off topic too much but the last time i was in service i saw more poeple leaving back issues everywhere like laundry mats etc. then actually placing with willing people. Yet still counting as placements. Point being half those count might be being placed at the city dump.

Society putting out "Want ads" in BOE letters
by sir82 init seems the society has a severe enough shortage of help in some areas that it is asking for help thru all the us boes.. there is one recent letter circulating asking for volunteers who can work on a persian translation team to move to "britain".
elders are to track down anyone who speaks persian & english, and ascertain their willinglness to move to bethel in london to help there.
there's a bunch of the standard "in good standing" questions they are to ask, as well as immigration / citizenship / visa issues to work out.. also, they are looking for programmers who know silverlight & xaml to work on a project for software the rbcs are using.. .

Just curious not bagging on you or him, but how did you get a jw boyfriend being a nonjw that is ussually a no no. There must be more to this and this might be why you have held on or have thought about being able to free him. As for relationship issues it depends on a lot of other facts for me to say, but if your having doubts now i might agree with most to end it.Its noble to love and care and doesn't mean your bad to change your mind now especially now. I would ask myself what do i want for myself out of life where do you see yourself what kind of relationship do you want. Some people find each other as that one personeach want to be with and make it work and have that love that last forever. Some never find it. It still takes a lot of work and patience and days where your not so in love. I wonder and would like to ask someone who has had a lasting marriage or equivilent when they met was it love at 1st sight and or even so were there any doubts before getting more serious (marriage or equivilent)? But that's just my approach like to no my itinerary or as much as possible. But that's also because i've already wasted all my 20's in a cult and want to make the rest of my life count.Sounds cliche but get busy living or get busy dieing.
