A letter from my Congressman

i received a mail-shot letter from my local us congressman presenting the results of the last survey from the district he represents.

the survey (which mrs. thirdson and i took part in) lists the top issues facing our nation.

i think it is interesting as to what the local community regards as the most serious issues facing us in the us compared to what jws preach about as things we should be concerned with.. here are the results and think about the jw answer/response to each of these issues.. number 1. education 18% listed this as the top issue facing the us.

it occured to me that this is their biggest audience.

might they record their time here, on the internet?

why wouldn't the wt sanction wholeheartedly the jw's use of the internet to spread "the truth?

Hi,

You asked if they use the internet for witnessing? Yes they do, they even have a foum on paltalk.

The thing about their forum on paltalk is that, if they do not wish to answer your questions. They place a red dot on you so you can't speak. Then they go a step further and boot you from the room. It's a real hoot to watch.

Honor among exJws

hello all......some things that have happened during the past week have made me think about exjws and honor.

we all remember 'theocratic warfare' and how it is ok to lie to those who don't deserve the truth.

so, my question is.....are exjws as a group more dishonest than people from other religious groups?

I am not going to take anyones side. I will sit back and listen to what is said, say what I feel, and then sit back and watch the truth come out, which it always does sooner or later, as you yourself will see.

Just be patient, things have their way of working out. Love ya friend!

advice needed--please respond

this is a question my df mother would like me to post for her:.

would it be morally right to go back to the jws, even though she doesn't feel it is god's org?

she would do this in order to speak with her life long friends and her youngest daughter, all of whom are quite emotionally distraught due to her dfing.

I did that. The only difference is that I didn't have any family members in the org, and I haven't run into any of the jws from my former congragation, since I moved out of town. I think it could work though. And this way you can speak to the jws in the town you move to and they know nothing about you. I do that too. I have gone as far as to tell one of them a few things that I have myself learned on the net.
