Im sure a link to the list will show up on Reddit - if it hasn't already. I haven't bothered to check because I don't care.
some jws will be on the list?
would you bring it up if you saw someone you know in there?
in the meantime, i'll be back... got to see if my credit card has been opened longer than i've been married to say it was back when i was single.

one member of a similar spanish speaking forum has found something quite interesting.. it is quite funny to see that gb members do not really realize how their belongings are really showing them as a fraud.
do you expect to see a gb wearing a 17000 us$ iwatch when answering to a court.
geoffrey jackson does !.
There are already two threads about it here:

Yours is now a third. But thx for sharing, anyway.
hey guys,.
i'm just venting here because obviously, i can vent to no one else because i am still in the congregation.. jws as a whole do nothing to help the poor, the homeless, the sick, the hungry, though some individual jws do.
because they are too busy giving to the gb.
Bashful:
would you mind sharing your Crowdfund with us so we may donate if we feel so inclined? Or if you would rather not mention it on the forum would you consider PM'img those of us that request?
And yes - as has been mentioned on this forum before, even when a JW lady is on death's bed in dire need of financial help in order to afford alternative treatment to blood transfusions to appease the Org, she is refused. They have made it abundantly clear that financial aid is not part of their policy, doctrine or conscience.
hi everyone, this is my first post so go easy on me :) i have been a witness all of my life (i'm 37) and truly believed it until 3 years ago.
my husband and i had become spiritually weak and over time i began to question more and more until i came to the conclusion that the witnesses were not the true religion but just one of many religions and that if god is there then there are many paths to get to him.
anyway, i've battled with keeping going as my husband still believed and i didn't want to be in a divided household as we have a young daughter and thought it would be very confusing for her (and us).

My main thing is that I don't want my little girl to be brainwashed the same way as I have been and want her to be in life whatever she wants.
The fact that your child takes priority over the doctrines and policies of other men in itself disqualies you from the JW candidate pool. Outstanding, I already think you're awesome!

John Aqila:
If there is a God and he is almighty, just, loving, and merciful, you shouldn't have to worry about judgement. If there is no God or he doesn't care, then you shouldn't have to worry either because once we're gone we won't know a thing. So enjoy your life and your family, that's the best thing. Isn't that what the Bible teaches.
Well said!

Welcome to the family mostly dedicated to researching and discussing an anti-Org vaccine. As I'm sure you can already tell, you will find no shortage of genuine and compassionate members eager to help and make you feel welcome. You are amongst an online dysfunctional but sincere family of sorts. Enjoy!
let me start off by saying i do not presume to have the answers, i am merely offering advice.. i will preface this posting with this, cutting a long story short:.
my sister was raped by a popular jw lad wh's dad happen to be a rock star elder.
in the attempt to fight him off his face was covered with scratches and it was reported to the police ( instead of rape he was sentenced on the lesser charges of sexual battery and assault) but he confessed to having violent, consentual sex.

Enjoyed your observations greatly. And your sister how did she fare?
Londo111I agree that the younger a person can wake up and become independent the better of they will be, especially before getting dunked. Unfortunately, not everyone is as fortunate. Many wake up in midlife and sometimes later, and by then, they are deeply enmeshed with their social network of friends and family. It’s not as easy for these to step away. There is not a simple one-size-fits-all path for everyone who wakes up.

A very interesting account and well said. I didn't consider your' first post to be smug although some here have endured a lot of grief in gaining mental and emotional freedom.
Thank you for the clarifications though
Thank you. I throughly enjoy reading your postings and you do so much for this community. In my short time here it has occurred to me that you are without question one of the corner stones of the community.

SSC- Your account of life growing up in apartheid South Africa is riveting. Many years ago, I remember hearing an experience at the KH that told of the Borg in SA. Of course that example indicated that all the brothers loved each other equally regardless of their race, it was the secular authorities who wouldn't let them all associate with each other...it sounds like they didn't want to associate with each other in the first place.
I'm pleased you found it interesting, thank you. As far as black and white JWs being together at KImgdom Halls went, I had heard of accounts where this happened but never personally witnessed any. The only time I ever saw all races together were at assemblies. I have no idea how the black JWs felt about their white brothers and sisters, but other than my father I never met a single white JW who ever spoke respectfully or kindly of the black brothers and sisters. I'm sure there were some, I just never met them.
P.S. Sorry about the dislike, I meant to hit like but again my sausage fingers messed up on my small iPhone.
there are a lot of things that make me have days like this, the utter embarrassment of being are part of a cult that protects child abusers, that enforces emotional brutality through shunning, and that lies constantly.
the lying i can tolerate, the world is built on bullshit, i have a high lie tolerance.
i can ignore it if it has no effect on me etc.

Everyone who comes to realize TTATT has one thing on their side that JWs believe they themselves don't have: time.
Great point Steve, I had never considered that.
the past week has been hell for me.
my mother started feeling ill and we went to seek medical assistance.
we live in the mountains and the nearest large hospital is about 150 kms away.
BRAVO SIR!! You are a hero and hopefully an inspiration and example of common sense to those on the fence about accepting blood transfusions.
Typical Org, "Do what we say or face a JC. Oh what's that you can't afford it? Well youll have to pray and figure it out. Oh she's dying? That's ok if you both stay in the truth you'll reunite in Paradise, don't worry about it, think of what a glorious moment it will be when the two of you reunite!"
So happy you persisted and she changed her mind! I crave positive stories with a powerful lesson!

You're a good guy and you certainly don't deserve being stuck between a rock and a hard place. I hope things don't stay this way for you much longer.
