do any of you ex-jw's still believe in god?
even with the new rebranding/softening of this religion, i still don't see how people can believe in him.
the god of the old testimate is an angry murderer who approved rapes and slavery and killed thousands of men, women and children.
I still believe in God....that there is a creator, but I don't have to accept the Old Testament and the concept of God that some primitive nomads living in the desert, 3000 years ago....
there are 2 questions that generate more pain,suffering & death, than any other question in existence.. these 2 questions are :.
"does god exist?".
"who is god"?.

I also want to see this evidence. Please supply links or book references. As Cofty will tell you I had my doubts about evolution even though I was no theist. I read bad information that gave me a completely misguided picture of it and it may well be the same for you. If anyone can, Cofty can set you on the correct course of highly regarded scientists to set the record straight. All my initial questions have been answered and now I can't stop myself from devouring books on evolution. I've always loved science now it's an addiction.

I Was done with this thread until he had the nerve to associate atheists with emotions. Theists entire reliance on their belief is based on emotions whereas scientific atheism is purely based on facts. So done with with emotion junkies.
