Frequency and destructive power of attacks is only going to increase over time. They are determined to undermine the various political and social structures of the West, and the more they kill in the process the clearer their message of ruthless determination will be. It is not possible for the West to stop them without Muslim help and the emotional crowd being convinced we all need to "love" our way to victory or a peaceful solution, let alone stem the frequency of attacks. -

I couldn't agree more. Where you really nail it is with regard to the support network. They may say the vast majority are peaceful, but I don't see that vast majority doing much about those fundamentalists who they claim are giving their religion a bad name. If only they were as outraged about them as they are about cartoons and works of fiction making reference to their religion. The vast majority may be peaceful, but they are also certainly complacent, apathetic and in my opinion, disingenuous about their outrage against fundamentalists.
It is not the place of outsiders to sort their problems out, it's their responsibility. Unless they undo the support network themselves, there can be no solution.
I will say this: letting in refugees by the tens of thousands who hold fast to an ideology like shariah who will inevitably demand it be recognized or claim discrimination, is asking for trouble. The "touchy-feely" powers that be and their supporters aren't thinking clearly. Think things are getting bad with fundamentalism and rampant crime against the European social system now? Wait twenty years when saying "we warned you" won't mean a damn thing.

Religion, a part of the American way of Life.
by Gorbatchov infound this picture on the twitter account and it makes a wider perspective to me.. the jw religion is so part of the american way of life, just like the other religions in the us.. in the jw growth rate country's there is a market for this "better" life.
the religion makes it possible.. western europe had that marketing mix need after world war 2 and maybe a part of the cold war.. see the picture, and you know, the similarities with the jw religion, the change will be in details and not fundamental.. gorby.

Very interesting. I also wonder if the proliferation of readily available information, knowledge and discourse made available by the internet hasn't contributed to the accelerated decrease in religious following. Another contributing factor may be more people live in cities than ever before, where philosophy, science, politics and sociology are staples of the average discussion. I know that in countries where there is either no internet or regulated Internet, religion is often still the mainstay of the vast majority. Yet even in those countries it's in cities where one is most likely to find those denouncing religious ideology.

Now blame the US or the West for this attack. Go ahead and blame the greed for oil the West has. Can't you apologists see they DONT need an excuse? They are determined to kill anything non Muslim and Muslims who fail to follow their twisted fundamentalism. Sick of hearing that fundamentalist terrorism is all due to the West's infringement on their resources. Muslims have to solve this problem and until they do, they are all complacent. It amazes me how they'll come out in the hundreds of thousands globally to violently protest a work of fiction, but barely a peep of protest against what is being done in their religion's name. -

JW Chef Refuses to Cook Black Pudding
by cofty insainsbury's has been forced to apologise after its jehovah's witness chef refused to serve a customer black pudding with his full english breakfast.alan mackay was stunned when he was told he could not enjoy the staple, made up of animal fat, blood and oatmeal, with his meal at the branch in arnold, nottingham.after receiving his incomplete dish the former police officer was told the black pudding would not be served because it was against the religious beliefs of the chef to do so....

There was a case which relates to this a couple of years back.
A Hasidic Jew applied to be a firefighter with the Goshen Fire Department. The GFD made it very clear that unless he shaved off his beard, he could not be a fireman as a beard would prevent a complete seal being formed with the respirator and the face. This would not only endanger the life of the applicant, but also his fellow firefighters as they would have to now risk their lives once he succumbed to smoke inhalation, not to mention the obvious risk to those being rescued if the applicant passed out while carrying an unconscious victim.
The Hasidic community attempted to sue the GFD on grounds of religious discrimination which was obviously complete nonsense. Had it been an atheist with a beard the same rules would have applied - it had nothing to do with religious intolerance but everything to do with FD rules and above all, common sense. He chose to follow the rules of the Hasidic faith which clashed with the rules and regulations of the GFD. If your beliefs prevent you from complying with a given job description, you have no business applying for the job - it's a simple choice. But because his faith demanded he have a beard the Hasidic community saw it as an opportunity to cry foul and invoke the religious intolerance card.
The over emotional crowd as usual allow their emotions to dictate their thought process instead of common sense. Tax payers money wasted in the drawn out process of court hearings over something which should have been a non-issue in the first place. I'm definitely with Simon and Cofty - if your beliefs are going to keep you from carrying out your job description stop making it about bigotry and others being at fault, common sense alone calls you out for what you are - a self entitled twit who thinks the world should step aside and make special concessions just for you because your views demand it. YOU are the one causing conflict and no one else.
