  this is of course nothing new again..... but just struck me as i ignored the watchtower today... .

  so israel is running from the egyptions... the desert god is taking wheels off of chariots and such so they can cross the red sea.

  he also has already told moses at this point that hes going to do away with pharoh and his army too.... .

  we work against you, we use our position to convince and sway those that still drink your koolaid.

  we feed info to authorities who chase you, we warn off potiential converts by directing them to the real truth.

  Lovely video, you guys! I've shared it on facebook, so hopefully it will get a little more exposure. Most who know of the JW religion probably think it's just a harmless, little religion with some odd beliefs whose followers knock on doors. Candice's lawsuit exposes a very harmful part of the religion that most of its members aren't even aware of. This video does an excellent job of explaining this!

  i haven't been on here much lately, but i read barb anderson's report on the court case in california the other day.

  nice to see the borg finally getting what they deserve.. anyway, the daily mail has done a story about it and at the end you can give your comments.

  i think there are a number of 'faithful witlesses' on there who are giving the "thumbs down" to any negative comments about the borg, including mine.

  RunningMan, I know you haven't posted here for almost a year now. Nonetheless, I want to thank you for your book. You point out things that hadn't occured to me before. Plus, your sense of humor makes it enjoyable to read. I'm glad you've moved on and have left us with your book. Thanks for all your hard work.

  i have to believe that in this day and age, they all suck.. and in the thousands of years of politics, i don't think there's any person or party that made life all that much better.

  (except maybe during fdr's reign)....but i'm not sure if all those programs that were instituted didn't produce the mess we're in now..

  No. I believe they are all pretty much the same.

  I have to admit that this is thinking I've carried over from my JW days, but, unlike other JW ideas, I haven't seen anything to change my mind on this one.

  i thought that i would meet people here that honour jehovah here.

  insread most of the people here are not here for the service of god.

  Many people here do serve god.

  they don't know what it means to honour Jehovah

  They do know what critical thinking means.

  most of them show by their actions trhat they are in the service of man

  I doubt, very highly, that you have observed most of the members here to be able to make this statement. Most here have "natural affection", and demonstrate this by not rejecting someone simply because they think differently. Rather, most here are very supportive, encouraging, and loving because we are all people, no matter what or how we may believe.

  Secret Santa 2011

  last year i coordinated secret santa for jwn and am happy to do so again.

  however i would like to get organised sooner rather than later since international postage means that santas need to be allocated by the end of november to ensure that presents can be despatched in good time for christmas.

  if you wish to participate please let me know and indicate whether you are happy to post internationally or whether you would prefer someone in the same country.
