As a child, this woman refused to go to school, ran away from home, did/sold drugs, prostituted herself, the whole nine yards.

I'm sorry Sylvia, but if you are trying to convince me that this child WANTED to prostitute herself, it aint going to happen. It doesn't take much thinking to come up with what kinds of situations force a child to run away and prostitute herself. Kids don't do that for fun.

The more you tell me about her, the more I understand why she is in the situation she is in.

There are some who embrace the lowlife style; they won't have it any other way.

These are the ones who make it difficult for those who are striving to better themselves.

For instance, what do you make of a woman who just had her 32nd birthday and has twelve -12! - children? To my knowledge, she's been married 3 times, and none of those sorry things have jobs. What do you do with people like that?

This lady is loving her life? She 'wouldn't have it any other way?'

I don't know they lady, but I'd be willing to bet a hefty sum that she would rather have a college education, a professional job, live in a nice neighborhood and things like that. I would also be willing to bet that she had her first child around the age of 15 or 16, never graduated from high school, and has never been very far outside her neighborhood and that her mother gave birth to her in similar circumstances.

What DO you do with people like that? What do you do with her children?

Educate them!

i have been watching glenn beck for over a year and i like him...he says what most americans are thinking and feeling.

there is no doubt he has a love for our creator.

btw i was a jw for 10 years and left that religion for good...i have no desire to belong to another religion but i do consider myself a christian.. just wanted to know what your opinion is of glenn beck.

And by the way union members don't get forced to attend rallies.

And they don't get paid to attend rallies, either.

They get paid for working their blue collar jobs.

Now the image for Black Americans to acheive is, ... BE a hate/violent talking rap star who thinks women are sex toys .... BE a pro-athelete who spends money life it never ends, and thinks women are sex toys ... BE a black man or woman who thinks this country owes them, and get on government assistence program.

How about BE THIS ... BE taking advantage of all the hard work and blood that was spilled to give you the ability to BE something real and something that gives back. While there are many who do, there are far far to many who do not.

Another important point to be made is this: I personally cannot think of a national spokesperson for the anti-Beck left that could possibly have organized such a large and peaceful rally as we saw Beck do on 8/28 in D.C. Go ahead, liberals - tell us WHO you have that could have done it!

You are talking about the bailout that happened under President Bush. So if the bailouts are proof that someone is Marxist, they are proof that George Bush is a Marxist. Also, John McCain was in favor of the $700 billion bailout bill. Sarah Palin supported it. Are they Marxist? Is everyone who voted for it Marxist?

Are you condoning spitting in a person's food? I understand tensions were high and there were really horrible things going on but still. The people in the restaurant weren't the people who had done the "stringing up" were they? So he was spitting in folks' food just because of their race, not because of something they themselves did.

I really have a problem with inserting bodily fluids into a person's food. That is inexcusable.

No, I'm not condoning spitting in a person's food.

My point is that if you want to outraged about some racisim in the 60's, it seems misplaced to be outraged over a 1960's black waiter spitting in some food when black people at that time were being KILLED for the color of their skin.

from what i've noticed 'wordly' teens or very young adults won't follow jw's.most teens/young jw's are born in,so boasting about the theocratic youth is actually boasting about jw children lol..

ne last thing that kills me, is if most of the people getting baptized are teenagers, and we all know from our own experiences and the PEW Study done a couple years featured in Time Magazine that 2/3 of born-ins eventually leave all together, why don't the boys in Brooklyn reexamine their organization? 2/3 of born-ins leave, not to mention how many get DFd, or reproved and stay for family. You would think the GB would step back and ask themselves, "is it us?"

They don't care that 2/3 leave. Those 2/3 that leave were not good cult member material and had to be sifted out. It's part of the process. Those that leave are just the 'price of doing business.'

They care about the 1/3 that stay. These are the Org's bread and butter. These are the hard-core. These are the ones that will do ANYTHING asked of them. Those are the only kind of members they want.

The org has no reason to try to court or keep any other type of person. They perfer quality cult members over quantity cult members.

I think they are both off for the week.

And on the topic of the tread, Glenn Beck is a huge fake. He's a charlatan. He's a money changer. A gold seller when gold is at it's top price in decades. A fear monger. A liar. A con artist. A rodeo clown.

He is here make you fear. Once you are in fear, he tells you HE has the answers. Just keep watching!

So you keep watching the show (his ratings go up=he makes more money) you buy his books (he gets more money), you buy gold from goldline at the highest prices in decades (he makes more money), you go see him on the 'Bold Fresh Tour' (he makes more money)

Anything scary suits his purposes: communist! terrorists! radicals! godless people! black presidents who hate white people! change! imaginary people trying to destroy the country! Convoluted conspiracy theories presented as fact!

He makes up lies to scare people. Then he tells people he has the answers. Then he takes their money.
