  If my family and I lived in 1914..

  ....My husband would be dead because medical care available at the time would not have been able to save him when he fell and had a tramatic brain injury.

  .....My son would be dead because medical care available at the time would not have been able to find the microscopic piece of extra skin that was killing him when he was 10 days old. And they wouldn't have been able to fix it if they had found it.

  .....Maybe my mother would be unable to walk due to back pain....

  So, I would be a widow taking care of my invalid mother, working for low pay as many hours as my empoyer wanted (because there was no 40 hour work week)...and my survivng 12 year old son would be forced to work (no federal child labor law)...and still we would be poor...

  TODAY, as a lower income Americans, my whole family is alive, my kids go to school instead of to the factory or the mine, and we have clothes to wear and food to eat and this nifty computer hooked up to the internet!

  I'll take TODAY over 1914, thanks.

  Dahmer's Parents on Larry King

  did anyone see the larry king interview with jeffery dahmer's parents yesterday?

  his father is a devout creationist and even converted jefferey to a creationist while he was in prison.

  the interesting thing i thought, though, was the father's theory for why jeffery was able to commit those murders: because jeffery believed in evolution.

  Jeffrey Dahmer is one sick little unit, and if his parents want to live in that alternate universe of theirs, that's fine, but I hope the courts keep their heads and keep the little monster incarcerated for life.

  Jeffrey Dahmer had his head smashed in by another inmate a few years ago. No need to worry about him anymore.

  LOL! That is too funny! A few years ago when I was ripping that book to shreds, I scribbled the word, "Fallacy!" next to that paragraph (actually I wrote the word 4 times on that page)...but I don't think I even noticed that first, glaringly ridiculous statement! Glad you pointed it out!

  Here is one of my one of my favorite tidbits from the Live Forever book:

  ?How good it is to know the truth about the dead! It can truly set on free from fear and superstition.?

  ??immediately followed by:

  ?Wicked Sprits are Powerful." (----Last words page 89 and first words page 90.)

  i just put a couple of items on there - but i have tonnes of crap to sell!!!

  I also set up a personal pay pal account today and presumed I could accept credit cards via it - but I could be wrong. Do I need to put a disclaimer on there that I can't like you have done???

  If you really have the free, personal Paypal account, then you can't accept credit cards through Paypal. If you have a Business (Premier) account (pp charges you each time you get paid), then you can accept credit cards.

  Your auctions say:

  "This seller, ballisticbrian1, prefers PayPal" and then there are little pictures of credit cards showing, making it look like you can take credit cards. Check and see for sure what kind of paypal account you have. If you can't take credit cards, I would insert the disclaimer for sure.

  If you want to take credit cards and don't mind letting Paypal skim a bit off each payment you get (Credit card or not) then go ahead and upgrade your Paypal account to Premier. People love to use their credit cards!

  If you don't want to upgrade, I would not check the Paypal box in the 'Accepted Payments' section when you are putting up your auctions. You don't want those little pics of credit cards showing. It will confuse people.

  Happy Ebay-ing!

  I don?t buy it.

  It reminds me of when people started folding $20 bills in such a way so that you could see the ?hidden? burning Twin Towers.
  

  That picture isn?t ?hidden? on a $20 dollar bill, but rather created by folding, etc.

  It is the same with any of these very hard to see ?faces?. I can take any picture and put it up against a reverse image of itself and it will make all kinds of cool symmetrical designs. (?Faces? and ?butterflies? would be common shapes to see because they are symmetrical.)

  So, in theory, if you were under the age of accountability and an unbaptised JW, you would be saved but if you were over that age and had not chosen to be baptised, you'd be doomed????

  As long as you died at armageddon. If you died before armageddon, you still probably get in under the "Day of Judgement" clause.

  LOL!

  I would say they have way too much access to the media to get DF or DA right now.

  They could really make the WT look bad if they wanted.

  Look for them to get the DF or DA when things die down a bit...sometime in the future when Time, Sports Illustrated, and Newsweek are not so interested in interviewing them and the WT won't be risking as much publicity.
