  Is homosexuality ever justifiable? I say YES!!!

  in the january 2012 awake, pages 28-29 there is another article about homosexuality.. .

  the writers argue that genetics, the environment, and sexual abuse do not justify homosexuality.

  the bible clearly states that homosexuality is wrong and is an abhorrent sin.

  Well its been some time. Interesting conversation has been taking place here while I have been living my life. Thanks for all your comments. I am doing great these days. I dont really care anymore about the bible and all the stuff that comes with it. Had enough of religion and im now far too strong to be bothered by it all. Getting married to Jack in May. We have been together for 4 and a half years now. I guess I should thank the JW's for kicking me out. They really helped me! xxx

  88JM - Thats a good point. When I look back at what I had to go through I think it was a dreadful time and I hated myself for it all. But now I look at it and literally shrug it off. I have got no time to be resentful and bitter. Actually Im glad it happened to me as it has made me super strong. I have chanelled it all in to LGBT counselling and now I love what I do. :) I guess its all down to how each person individually feels about it.

  HOAB - Im great thanks. Things are doing really well. 3 years now since Iv been with Jack. We live together too. Saving for the future and just enjoying the moment. :) :) :) Whats new with you? x

  hi guys.. im moving to chester in 4 days and its out of the jurisdiction of my congregation so... woop woop!

  the jws are going to be invited in often.. however, the territory im moving to should have been the northgate congregation however my cousin told me it was disbanded a while ago.

  apparntly it has been split up and meshed with blacon.

  Im moving to Chester in 4 days and its out of the jurisdiction of my congregation so... WOOP WOOP! The JWs are going to be invited in often.

  However, the territory Im moving to should have been the Northgate congregation however my cousin told me it was disbanded a while ago. Does anyone know why?

  Apparntly it has been split up and meshed with Blacon. This could be bad for me as I knew some in the Blacon congregation and I dont want them giving my game away when I invite them in.

  i decided to go on to youtube where i found it and watched it.

  Hi guys. Its been a while.

  As it is convention time I was just intrigued as to the new releases so I came on here and saw a new DVD. I decided to go on to youtube where I found it and watched it. I dont think its available now. Has anyone else seen it?

  In short I think its a very good production and I think David the prodigal son is cute :) (I wanted him to be gay). Anyway, he raises several good points in the DVD. He says how he is getting crushed at home and how they are always bearing down on him and telling him what to do. This basicaly pushes him out. His judgemental brother was a very good example of an over zealous JW. His dad was pretty relaxed though and seemed to appreciate that David could do what he wanted. I wonder if the JWs consider that it is not the standards of Jehovah that people fight against, its the constant pressure and brow beating by family, friends, and elders which make people leave and go another way. This was certainly evident in the DVD.

  I also think the DVD was very catastrophised. He was doing well after leaving the JWs. He had a job, an apartment, new friends, etc. However he suddenly lost them all, which im not sure would happen. He clearly wasnt clever in managing his money and yes he should have settled for better in terms of an apartment. He could have easily gone on the job seekers and the girl in the DVD who he eventually slept with was LOVELY! Im gay and even I liked her. She seemed so sweet. He could have started a relationship with her and tried to sort his life out. All in all it seemed very catastrophic. I guess this is the point the GB want the brothers to see though. If you leave the organisation, your life will end like this. You will have bad friends, you will get drunk, you will lose your job, you will have no money, you will have shallow relationships. So closed minded and narrow.

  Apart from the fact that I actually enjoyed the DVD, it made me reflect on my own situation. Since leaving I have had no desire to go back as a prodigal son. I imagine some in my cong will watch the DVD in a few weeks and think of me. My life is going too well. I have a stable relationship, I have good friends, I have a good job, I have everything I need. Im doing great. I guess this is the point though. The JWs believe that if you are not part of the org then you must be unhappy and you must be struggling. Perhaps one day he will return.

  i dont go out of my way to do it but when they pass me in the street i just cant help myself!

  it's hilarious!

  today i popped to the train station to pick up some tickets and on the way back i noticed an elder's car parked near the local cafe.

  Today I popped to the train station to pick up some tickets and on the way back I noticed an elder's car parked near the local cafe. I was totally hoping that they would walk out as I passed round the corner... would you believe it... there they were! An elder, his wife, and a young pioneer. I instantly looked at them all dead in the eye smiling, to which none could maintain eye contact with me. The elder looked shiftily to the floor, his wife looked to the right and the pioneer looked to the left. Haha. Then (because I’m a bitch) I walked straight through the elder and his wife splitting them up. As I did I greeted them and asked them how they were. For a split second I thought they may just respond. It was hilarious! I got such a buzz from it. When I had my counselling I came to appreciate that I should not feel bad about why I was disfellowshipped, but see it that these people are really missing out on my friendship, but I can’t help but note how ridiculous they looked and how childish they are! Haha!

  After passing them I was beaming with delight. I was then blessed with a new target. A brother had already left before them and was heading in the direction I was going. Game on! I very quickly crept up behind him preparing myself to say hi. I kept a sprightly pace. When I passed him I looked into his face and said 'Hello E___. How are you?' Again he was taken by a surprise and ALMOST let a word or two slip. Good job he didn’t otherwise he would be a big flaming queen like myself (2 John 1:11). Lol. After that I continued to smile as I walked past him contemplating how silly they all look. Apart from that It made my day. I can’t wait for the day when I can be walking with a friend, spot the JWs, whisper to my friend, 'watch this', then greet the brothers and sisters. What a great witness that give. If Jehovah made them in his image then he must be one real bitchy God.

  Lol... love it. I guess these videos are more cringeworthy than anything because we know the mind's of young children are so impressionable. It feels so wrong.
