It's a spiritual paradise!
Being spiritual means learning about GOD and trying to conform your lives to His requirements. There are many faithful people in various religious organizations. If a person is happy as one of Jehovahs Witnesses then let them be happy. If not they can find another teaching that pleases them. Either way the intent of the heart is righteous so GOD will acknowlege their efforts. By their fruits you will recognize them....

Sure become one of Jehovahs Witnesses why not. They are a strict faith without a doubt and carry many rules. Have you ever met a faithful J.W.? They are well disciplined, loving, and kind. Jehovahs Witnesses make an effort to conform their lives to what the bible teaches whereas many other faiths don't even question whether or not a person is growing spiritually.

by bafh inin another thread on the board, someone talked about their friend being a sniper in the marines and being very angry at the gb with thoughts of revenge.
it made me wonder - what would happen to the jws if in some strange turn of events, all the gb died at the same time?
how would they carry on if their leadership was snuffed out?

How did the 1919 GB know they were chosen ?
by Phizzy inthe present gb/fds claim a kind of apostolic succession going back to the now claimed first appearance of the fds in 1919.. i don't think anywhere is it made clear who made up the fds then, but let us go along with the fiction, (in reality we know only rutherford really ruled the roost) and assume there was a group of guys who were the fds, how did they know they were chosen as such ?.
there obviously is nothing in the wt writings of the time as all this is noo lite, so, if they did not know their heaven appointed role, why would they carry it out, except by accident?
and if so, how could they possibly produce "food at the proper time "?.

Wishful Thinking with a huge doses of leaps in logic mixed in gave the Governing Body knowledge that they were chosen and quite possibly a touch of Narcissistic Personality Disorder also helped them gain this secret knowledge.
