i'd like to know what jws think that poor in spirit means.. as in 'blessed are the poor in spirit for theirs is the kingdom of heaven'.

WooHoo - I got the job, time to leave the borg

my current job is due to be phased out within the next few weeks and i had been reluctant to make my announcement until i secured a new position.

i figured just in case my wife went beserk and left i would'nt want to be stuck looking for a job and carrying all the bills.. anyway i went on an interview yesterday within the company and this morning i got the call that if i wanted the job it was mine, so naturally i accepted without hesitation.

so now my next step is to get a second car within the next few days, that way i won't be stuck at the house when my wife is at the meetings or field service.

i took a little time this evening and emailed the local newspaper and tv news regarding silentlambs.. just a reminder, don't put your lamp under a basket (or something like that).

question.......from the stand point of the wtbts would it have been wiser to spread out their judicial notifications say over a couple of months or more?

ie.. bill bowen in january, barbara anderson in march etc.

New Mandatory Reporting - Illinois Law !

the illinois senate judiciary committee overwhelmingly passed a plan to require the clergy to report any abuse of children (sexual and other types) to the authorities.

(lawyers, doctors, teachers, etc.

already have to report these.

i think i may have pissed off the gods or something.

;) my luck just turned further south... i just totaled my car.. i was coming around the bend where 360 north exits to the 183 east and west fork in arlington texas.

as i came around, there was suddenly a long line of stopped cars.

I blew off a 25 min. service meeting part tonite

i told the presiding overseer that i'd probably be late getting home from work.

but i actually spent my time driving around and enjoying the spring weather.. in other news i'll be going in for a job interview tomorrow within the company.

i'm really hoping i land this job, because as soon as i can secure a new position (my old one is being phased out) i'll be exiting the stage of the jw comedy of errors.. .
