Barbara Anderson Disfellowshipped
by silentlambs inas of 1 pm today barb anderson was notified that she has been disfellowshipped in writing by the judicial committee in her congregation.
barb was df in absentia at a second hearing that was declared after she successfully defended herself against charges in the first hearing.
home office came back with further instructions to make it stick the second time around.

Get Dubs to watch Dateline with Reverse Psychology
by LizardSnot ini think the best way to get the dubs to watch dateline is to tell them not to :) dont people just love to do things they are told not to...i know i do :).
the following is a sample conversation that i might have with my mom.. "hello...mom?
hi...this is your son...you too (k)...hey i just wanted to let you know that dateline is airing a piece on jehovah's witnesses tonight...yeah i'm sure you dont want to watch it...you really need to listen to the organization because they know what is best for you...uh huh...no...no i probably shouldnt tell you what it is about...nahh, i dont want it to hurt your faith mom...yeah...uh huh...say, is it time for the nurse to bring your meds yet?....how is the food?...ok, i understand...yes mom...group therapy is important...just listen to them ok?...love you ...bye.. lizard

My Silentlamb/Benton KY experience.
by Yerusalyim inwe all know the big news that came from the news conference and candlight vigil (candle light at 7:30pm?
i arrived at the benton courthouse at 9:30 am, i guess i was expecting to see a lot of people there.
i walked around and around and around the courthouse looking for someone that looked like they were there for the press conference.. finally, at about 9:55 i saw several cars with folks in suits drive by and figued "that must be them" i was correct.

i guess they know that i can't make an appointment to a gynecologist on a sunday..well that excuse worked once.. ok here is the question he is asking as i'm typing this right now..your husband has been to the meeting two week-ends in a row you haven't been there either time and i wanted to see if your ok.. hmm..my answer "same as the last 9 months of no attendance..never felt better..thanks for asking"..yes, i'm trying not to giggle.. maybe i should show him my picture in the paper from the press conference in ky.. ~~~noi~~~.
