JW Positions?

i'm kinda new and i was woundering what all these (i think they're positions or levels?

) different kinds of jw people are.

what'a a pioneer, elder, baptized, weak family, publisher, and any other titles people can come up with.

does every issue of morality have to be compared with the thinking and teaching of jehovahs witnesses?

simply because you are no longer jehovahs witnesses does that mean that you flaunt all moral authority and engaged in any perverted pleasure that you have a mind to?

because your morality is no longer legislated by a pseudo religious organization does that give you license to engage in all acts of "immorality" and refer to it "as just having fun.

Dutchie....I do respect what you had to say about morals.

I guess me....like some others got a little out of hand with our boobie and tush pics.

Its was all in fun...and I do apologize if you are offended.

I do think that people who are oppressed can sometimes get a little wild when they are finally free from an organization like the Watchtower...and some, more wild than others.

I think Simon shut down the thread before the "really private" parts started to get posted.

This is probably a good thing considering the mixed group of people that visit this site.

There does need to be balance and I think Simon is on top of it.

On the other hand...some do need to be more tolerant of others....I mean...who really wants more oppression?

Sometimes, and I know I've mentioned this before, its good to be a little "thick-skinned" with regard to things that rub us the wrong way. You cant please everybody and everybody cant please you.

It is nice to have an online community of people to share their feelings with, joke around, cry on each others shoulders, and encourage one another.

Satan's Messengers

i just finished iming with a long time online friend from england who didn't know i was ever involved with the jws or that my estranged wife was.

she also didn't know of the breakup, so we had a nice chat bringing each other up to date on our respective familes and such.

when i told her of the jws and the soon to be ex still being one, she told me that they call them satans messengers over there.

His name is Bobo....we just got a new bag of Catnip for him....

He went nuts...I've never seen a cat dig all 4 paws and his teeth into something before.

SUICIDE IN KH PARKING LOT

last saturday, a former ministerial servant and pioneer committed suicide in the woodinville washington kingdom hall parking lot.

he was disfellowshipped several years ago, and according to the old sister that related the story to me today, he was depressed because no one would talk to him.

i don't know how i kept calm when she explained to me that "we couldn't talk to him...he was disfellowshipped.".

There is so much "blood guilt" on the society's hands...

another example of gross hypocrisy - do they honestly think that these type of things will never be discovered?

unbelievable.

i suppose their excuse is that the shares were donated as gifts and through wills etc, yet surely they should not accept them if they are not appropriate to the teachings of the organisation.
