I believe that there existed a man who walked the earth named Jesus.

Whether or not Jesus was the Son of God or God with us cant really be proven unless we all believe the bible is an accurate historical document.

He wasn't too good to talk to anyone...he was generous...he was honest...patient...kind...clever...life of the party *kewl 1st miracle.

I believe that Jesus was tortured to death on a cross I mean really, that sort of thing did happen back then didnt it? Why make it up?

Jesus the man, fulfilled a number of prophecies from the old testament such as, his bones werent broken and they cast lots for his clothes, his hands and feet were peirced...stuff like that. Still doesnt prove anything, I know.

The only point I want to make here is that just say Jesus wasnt really the messiah

How many people do you know that believe in helping others so much that he/she would suffer being tortured to death rather than giving up on his/her ideals or good intentions?

I dont know anyone like that. Maybe some of you do.

It would be silly for me to say that I wished there were more people like that...because then...uh...they would be here long right?

But, if you and I and everyone else cared about our fellow man 'half' as much as Jesus didthe world would be a better place.

it was 22 years ago tonight that john lennon died, gunned down by an insane fan, mark david chapman.

i was making brownies and my first husband was watching monday night football.

he called me to the living room and i heard howard cosell make the announcement.

I was 12....in the 7th grade...

My mother was 8 months pregnant with my youngest brother.

Had to give a note to my choir teacher explaining why I couldn't participate in the Christmas concert.

My girlfriend's name was Kim.

Thats all I can think of <g>

i just got off the phone with carla.

carla and paula's mother has just passed away.

carla said that paula had been checking her post on and off all through the night and that it gave her much comfort in knowing that so many replied and showed that they cared.

Our Mother is in a coma :(

karla and i came home for a quick shower and a change of clothes.

we ask that you keep our mother and our family in your prayers.

we posted a few weeks ago that our mother had been diagnosed with pancreas cancer and was given 6-18 months with chemo.

I feel so bad for you...no one can ever be prepared for something like this.

Your mom is truly blessed to have such a loving family.

The fact that everyone has pulled together to spend time with her in her last moments is a reflection of the wonderful person that she is.
