Thank you for the condensed report Watchtower Free. I like that you called Geoffrey by his first name. It limits confusion since there are two Jacksons. Douglas and Geoffrey. -

ATT: WARNING
by EJ257 inplease be aware of everything that is happening around the world at this moment in time.
this goes to anyone, ex-communicated, removed, serving, believer and non.
at this point in my observations i have realized many religions/ideologies know there is some sort "end of time" or a transition into a new order of living in this earth.

"even bethel knows it's insanely close"
Was the "you're no longer needed" notice they found slid under their door a clue? Bethel is going through their own tribulation right now. Their Armageddon is rapidly approaching. They'd have to be mental midgets to not figure that "their" end is near.

According to this article, it takes platelets several days to recover from chemo:
http://news.cancerconnect.com/thrombocytopenia-overview/
It may be grasping at straws, but it doesn't look like it would cause any harm:

This is a good thread:

So sorry for what you're going through. It has to be the hardest thing ever to watch someone you love slowing dying while refusing life saving treatment.
Are you up to date on their policies? The reason I ask is because they change SO often. There was a time they didn't allow organ transplants. Now they do. They didn't allow ANY blood that I know of, but now they allow many, if not most of the parts or fractions of blood.
Found this on a quick search:
"Also referred to as “thrombocytes”, they are specialized blood cells responsible for stopping bleeding. Like the red cell, they have no nucleus. They are the smallest of the blood components, amounting to far less than 1% of blood volume, yet they remain banned. They are used to treat Thrombocytopenia, side effects of chemotherapy or a low platelet count due to lumbar puncture or bone marrow aspiration. The platelet is banned for Jehovah’s Witnesses but like the red and white cell, everything within it are permitted."

Would, or could, the Dr. dance to their tune and separate the fractions before giving them to her? You've probably already researched, but if you haven't, I'd dig into the WTS literature and you might find a life saving "loophole".
My heart goes out to you and you'll be in my thoughts. Hoping some research will convince her that she can take some life saving measures.

Sad thing that you heard from your Dad, your husband, through his Dad, but haven't heard from the elders who want to to talk to you...unless your Dad is an elder. Even if he were/is, how did your husband's Dad find out? Is the entire congregation going to hear about it before you, and isn't there a rule about gossiping and spreading such news?
I'm sorry your inlaws treat you the way they do. Hope that some day you will find people who value you and treat you the way you deserve for the way you are, not what they expect you to be. Though it's a reflection on them, not you, it's still sad that you have to endure such treatment.

Reason of financial problems WTS

I think there are plenty of roles for a non witness insider in an organization that consults, befriends, and betrays. Writers, college professors, health experts, scientists. Easily disposable. Anyone that can be used and cast aside with little collateral damage are fair game to them. All can and have been be misquoted, used and abused. Think Monica Applewhite individuals. The RC hearings aren't the first time they've used her. If it matters, she's Catholic, female, and had access to the ultra secret Flock book. It doesn't matter what religion is attached to a commodity that is inexpensive and intended to be used for a purpose and trashed.
What sort of role would "a non-Witness insider" play within the organization? There can't be too many roles within the organization like that.

Thank you Orphan Crow. Was afraid of that but thought I'd offer it just in case. Real hard to find any current info. Will keep an eye out though.
Thank you for that link, Anon.
The problem with that document is that it is no longer valid.
Organizational bylaws are not that difficult to change. Time consuming but not difficult. Over the course of the past almost100 years, there would have been many changes to those bylaws. The only way we can know for certain what the membership requirements are is to have access to the current WTS bylaws.

Don't know if this would help, but the "1917 Facts For Shareholders", a PDF document, has the bylaws on page 4 of the document at:

Hi Samuel. As Zoos said, your English is very good. You should be proud that you realized within two years that you're on a path you'd rather not be on. You're young, and have a long life ahead of you. You can't change the past, but have today, and the future. You don't have to waste any more worrying about a tomorrow that may never come.
Life, and the world, is full of beauty. Babbling brooks, a gentle breeze, a night around a crackling campfire, all the wonders of nature and it's creatures. Each one, getting along, day by day. None worrying. May you find the path you want to follow. Thank you for sharing your journey.
