Megaupload is hosting the files, and I downloaded all of them already. You click on "regular download" and then you may have to wait a while but it works.

can someone show me the exact quote?.

Well the theme of the entire article is not listening to apostates and how it can drag us down and stop our zeal. AND they are equating internet research to scriptures on gossip and "gadding about unoccupied".

"If we stop actively supporting Jehovah’s work, then we start following Satan. There is no middle ground. —Matt.12:30" WT 2011, 7/15 page 18, par. 15

Hopefully this won't be blown up into something bigger than it is- It isn't WT "policy" yet and may never be. The quote warns that if we aren't active then we are already playing into Satan's hands- this is not a new ploy on WT's part. They are just trying to stir up more activity as always and deflect people away from gossip, (the point of the paragraph) which you can't fault them for.

BUT it could be some sort of prelude to a bigger idea. But that's a pretty big BUTT lol.

@ leavingwt - good point.

@ baltar447 - I think the team was trying to take a page from WT Comments. Their videos are so amazing and the sarcasm was used freely. But you are right, some will be turned off. However if they have made the leap to go to website and actually think for themselves, they may hear it out.

@ baltar447 - I think the team was trying to take a page from WT Comments. Their videos are so amazing and the sarcasm was used freely. But you are right, some will be turned off. However if they have made the leap to go to websites, read the books, etc, and actually think for themselves, they may hear it out.

How come it was Our Kingdom Ministry then it was Our Kingdom Service then it was changed back to Our Kingdom Ministry?

it was okm in the old days 50s and 60s then it was our kingdom service in the 70's then they changed it back again??????.

this is the publication used at the service meeting thursday nights showing how to preach in the territory..

Was able to find out from someone that was there during those years the reason it was changed. Here is the gist of the conversation:

"An outline was prepared for the district convention by Grant Suiter either in 1974 or 1975, stressing the matter of "ordained minister," which is what all associated baptized persons were designated as being. Ray [Franz] saw a problem with it, and discussions followed in the GB. Thereafter Ray wrote the articles that resulted in a shift, with "service" replacing "ministry." The WT article that set forth this change and the reason for it was, "What Does It Mean to Be a 'Minister'?" This was published in the December 1, 1975, magazine. That is why the title of the KM was changed, but the change was not "popular," and there was considerable agitation about it.

The other main articles Ray wrote for the 12/1 issue are most interesting, especially in view of what has developed since then." --------------------- Fascinating. Makes sense too. Everything that may have helped swing the ORG back to sanity and Christianity has been stomped on and discarded over the years...
