  Today is my grandson's birthday

  today is my grandson's birthday, and i went round and gave him his present and his face lit up with joy, as he said "wow!

  ", and then, instantly, "thank you, grandma!".

  wtf is the wt doing to the minds of the brethren???.

  this morning i went to the post office at 7:50am to pick up a package.

  turns out the mail box section was open at 8am but the actual post office didn't open until 8:30am... rather than drive home and come back later i decided to get out my car and wait on a nearby park bench.

  I feel for you CA! The Dubbs were shunning me months before I even had my Judicial Committee meeting it was crazy.

  I feel that maybe the pio-sneer you bumped into wasn't so much clueless as he was cruel and judgmental. This is the way the JW culture trains people to act. It is the "If you are not with us then you are against us" philosophy.

  These are not the conduct of true Christian people- don't forget that!

  hey folks i recently celebrated my very first birthday party!

  there was a big "one" candle on the cake and we had a blast.

  it felt great to be "normal" and just do what other people do.

  Yep! And I include several quotes from articles in the video on what is "pagan" and what is "not very pagan" according to the WT Corp leadership.

  • Throwing rice at a wedding? Pagan!

  • Birthdays? Pagan! (of course)

  • Toasting at a meal? Pagan!

  • Pinatas? ...Not quite as Pagan!

  all documents of important nature such as, our kingdom ministry, boe letters, forms, or other materials will now be sent only by email or private message communications.

  they will not be posted out here on the board.

  if someone else wants to post them, be my guest.. .. we have no other choice in this matter, and sending out confidential documents is better when it is done privately.

  I'm sure not complaining either- it's vitally important that this stuff be leaked on a regular basis and made available to anyone that wants it.

  so this weekend i decided to tell my dad about my being re-adjusted by the elders.

  i gave him a cliff notes version of my meetings.

  i let him know that i was being disciplined for questioning certain procedures and being accused of bad-mouthing the elder body and that the term apostasy was mentioned.

  I am appreciative of getting the material, but also trying to figure that out.

  "Feeling normal" is a GOOD thing. Being normal, re-joining the rest of society feels good.
