  JW Apologists Keep Commenting

  i just posted a new article entitled "jw apologists keep commenting".

  there seems to be an influx of asleep jws that are trying to fight back against what they perceive to be threats to their faith by trying to refute our websites and forums.. several are currently making the rounds voting down webpage comments and youtube videos, as well as the dissident jw blogosphere.. here's a screengrab from the article:.

  @ EdenOne - Duhhh okay thanks. I like your site. Don't agree with every doctrinal thing on there as it is almost a carbon copy of the JWs but still a good step in the right direction. Hats off to you.

  @ dazed but not confused - Glad you like the vid, and it's encouraging to know that "yet another" JW woke up by simply looking at both sides online.

  The Bible students know how to celebrate the Lord's Supper they are good people and highly independant, allowing memebrs to have differing views.

  hello, so i have decided to da myself and will write a da letter to the body of elders.... do you have any ideas of what i can include in this letter or samples?...

  i really want to make a huge impact with this letter.. i appreciate your help everyone....

  What's wrong with the way we interpret prophecy?

  i've posted this somewhere else, but i think it's worth some discussion here as well.

  the original thread revolves around the interpretation of the time for the great tribulation to occurr.

  i've pointed out if the problems we ran into in the past and present about interpreting prophecies are troubled by the false premise that we are living in the "last days".. .

  EdenOne you aren't going to be judged evil by God, and neither are most people. God desires "all to attain to repentance". (2 Peter 3:9) Don't you think that God can achieve any goal he sets out to accomplish?

  This book/website was very helpful to me as I began to wake up to TTATT:

  Below are grabs of the first two pages of the introduction. It illustrates that the WT along with most mainstream Christians take prophecy and Biblical writings and squeeze them into their pre-set ideas, ulitmately selling the love of God short. But at least WT has it right on Hell being a symbolic place!

  Congrats nolongerconfused- you know in your heart and soul you need to leave this destructive religion. So DO IT- just leave. Don't go to meetings anymore, and do not acknowledge their power over you.

  Some write the DA letter for convenience or for a release. Some write it but never print it out or give it to anyone, it is purely therapuetic. I left on my own terms, by talking to my closest friends about TTATT (The Truth About The Truth) and trying to help them. It was mostly fruitless, but at least I spoke the truth. Then when the elders called me before them I went, and spoke truth to them as well.

  IT WAS ONE OF THE BEST THINGS I EVER DID. It was hard, it was nerve-wracking, but I recorded it for everyone to see and hear and in turn perhaps some will be encouraged to leave this cult-like group.

  Our advice: Do not submit a DA letter, that is what they want. Force them to "spiritually stone" you. Make them reveal the true ugliness that this Org represents... IF THEY CAN CATCH YOU ;-)

  Yes Steve2- EXACTLY RIGHT IMO!

  I have one JW apologist on JWStruggle named Skyrainbow she comments almost every day and some regulars are tearing her to shreds over there but I prefer they didn't myself. I have simply asked her questions and said she is welcome to comment on my site anytime she wants as long as she doesnt violate any obvious rules such as spamming, obscenity, etc.

  @ problemaddict - Your perspective is appreciated, TY! I like your suggestion to simply ask the JW apologist to explain and discuss with you what they disagree on.

  @ EdenOne - You make a good point, and it shows that you are an open-minded individual, despite the policies and culture of the WT, which tends to close the Witnesses minds as a group to anything labeled "suspect".

  @ Joepublisher1 - Excellent point about Logical Fallacies, and being kind and keeping it civil. This alone illustrates to these folks that we are not foaming at the mouth mentally diseased people.
