@Christ Alone - They did cede control to me during the meeting, which was unexpected. I wasn't counting on that, and thought the meeting was going to be short, not 3+ hours.

@Hopscotch - Yeah I noticed that Cosmo was done and waiting for it to be over after a certain point. Eric (the brother on the right) just wouldn't let up, and said some of the silliest things in his efforts to refute what he was hearing. This was due to him only having partial knowledge and not ever having researched the topics I brought up of course.

@SnakesInTheTower - Yeah I think they just have to "get it out there" about the declaration that recording is not allowed...they have to know it is going on I would think.

@twinkle toes - Them saying Matthew 18 didn't apply irked me but I just moved on there was so many other things to get to. If all I had wanted to do was escape DFing it would have been very easy to do but that was not my purpose.

@JimmyPage - He's a nice guy, not a prick at all...I know him well. He's just a new elder and inexperienced IMO.

@sizemik - They didn't use the scriptures as much as I would have expected..and I had more scrips at the ready and used as many of them as I could, you'll see that in part 4 which should be up in a day or two.

@braincleaned - Yeah that was pronounced and so sad- and they kept saying it over and over too...

@JunkYardDog - One of my goals was to cover as many topics as possible. My main goal was not to "put them in a vise" but to illustrate the many problems that face the org, and that concern so many of us here. But you're right they did change the subject and I could have attacked that flaw more.

@undercover - They were a pretty patient group. And the more that I watch it back, the more I think that the Chairman (the brother in the center) was having a hard time defending the WT org.

@JW gonebad - It's true it is at their whim. These trials are not consistent, are oftentimes are not conducted fairly and impartially. It is wisdom of men, and not from God.

The work that Atlantis and the rest of you do to preserve these publications and other "historical documents" of the WT corps is awesome.

The Aid book link is a really good one as that book and it's successor the IT volumes have proven to actually have a lot of good Biblical information in them, and we know why...

@Theocratic Sedition - Nope they were not. They may find out, but they may not. I don't really want them to get upset over it and would prefer they not find out they are on YouTube...but whatever happens happens I can't expend any more energy worrying about it lol!

@Tatiana - Several people have commented on the body language...IDK if he is conflicted or not, but it would be great if he was. Near the end, the brother on the far left gets tears in his eyes and almost cries bc he does really care...it's sad that they are so blinded by the WT Org though.

@mercedes_29 - Thanks sis- there's a lot of divorced folks that can relate to that part of my story; it seems to repeat over and over and over...

@jemba - Yeah I don't think they were as prepared as I was lol...

Is there now a HUGE gulf between most R&F and the Elders ?

this was a question that sprang to my mind as i watched raypub's (eric's) j.c video.

can't wait for the rest of it by the way !.

it was so obvious that all those on that j.c, like i would think 99.9% of elders , put loyalty to the gb/wt before jehovah, jesus the bible or truth.. they are simply company men through and through.. the average r&f jw seems to me to believe they are serving god, and that comes higher on their list than the wt, you can see this by the way they pick and choose which of the myriad rules they obey.

Interesting topic Phizzy! One thing I've seen is that there is a gulf betweeen what the R&F are taught and what they ACTUALLY believe, as brought out by the video I did on "Is Jesus your Mediator?"

I asked the elders that question later in the JC, and they can't simply answer, "Jesus", they have to qualify it with, "Jesus in association with the FDS is our mediator." ...Whereas most r&f publishers would simply say "Jesus".

Of course the WT pubs say that ONLY those that sip the wine have Jesus as their mediator. So to me, more and more are following their conscience, at least on little things, and so the gulf grows wider between "official teachings" and what members really think and believe. Eventually maybe it will be enough to force change inside the WT, but who knows...

Happy Sunday morning! I just got up... it's only been one day since the first video went up and it took me an hour to read all the comments on YouTube and on here...amazing...

Can't answer all the questions just yet but a reminder, if you are within a few miles of San Luis Obispo, we are having our first monthly JW support meetup on Oct 2 at 6:30pm, a Tuesday.... Next month I am going to try and move it to a Saturday so hopefully that will be a better day for more to come out.

The first 45 minutes of my JC with the elders is now live. Thanks for all the prayers and positive vibrations...The elders told me it will be announced this Tuesday the 25th of September that I have been DFed...it's weird to think about that, but I am happy that I could let my light shine and explain to these brothers what The Truth About The Truth really is. (TTATT)

Someday it may help them to get out, or it may not. Either way this is on record and out for all to see and judge for themselves.

big news - i met with the elders last night.

they were not arrogant and they were not mean spirited, but of course we all know they also would not budge from the jw brainwashed beliefs they are sworn to uphold.

i let my light shine, and within two minutes of sitting down with them was no longer nervous.. .

BTW it took my PC about 7.5 hours last night to rendered the first 45 minute video, and it came out as a 1.5 gb master file...It is uploading to YouTube right now but feels like it is taking forever!

@Londo - My fav part in the 8 minutes is actually when I asked them if they thought new GB guy is mentally imbalanced!
