Believers, do you believe in evolution?

S.I. Hayakawa wrote an awesome book called "Language in Thought and Action" and he had a whole chapter on this topic.
I took a class on semantics in school and it was one of the most fascinating subjects I ever studied. His book was required reading.

@ Indian Larry and oppostate - This bro would not leak it like that, so I doubt it is from him. I wonder if it is a conversion to mp3 of a computer reading it- I'll download it when I can to find out.
The guy I know that recorded it in his studio is very discreet and respects Cynthia and the copyright law so he is waiting. The world will have it sooner or later that's what I think. It is sad that it cannot simply be released to whomever wants it.
As for reading PDF files, it is imperfect but sorta works. Nothing on the same level as a human reader with good inflection, pausing, etc. It's gonna be a long time before a computer voice emotes and inflects an audio book as good as a voice actor, if ever.

CP essentially died with Ray Franz...that's the reality. Cynthia is up in years, in a rest home (I was told) and does not appear to have the desire/interest in preserving his legacy, and that's her business.
One motivated brother I know actually took it upon himself to record the ENTIRE text of CoC in audio format, and it was extremely well done. He then sought to give it to Cynthia lock stock and barrel so that it could be sold or given to folks...and she refused and said "no thank you".
So it sits on his hard drive...

The website rating service WOT is being used to sandbag TTATT sites
by RayPublisher ini recently sent an email about this to a couple dozen of my contacts.
(it is included below) has anyone else encountered this problem with wot?.
.. wot (web of trust) is an excellent plug-in that i have used with google chrome for quite some time, but have noticed that many of the sites run by dissidents and former jws to expose the lies and hypocrisy of the wt automatically have "dangerous" reputations according to wot, and my browser will actually pop up a warning not to visit the site when trying to go there.

if you are a christian and you know that december 25th is not jesus' birthday, and may have pagan roots, then why celebrate it?

I just sent that Russell quote re: xmas to my kids email. The older one is a bit torn about the whole thing but my girlfriend really enjoys it, it's her favorite holiday and she is pretty persuasive!
