  I ran into an inactive JW at the store we talked for 20 minutes

  i ran into an inactive jw at a department store last night and we talked for 20 minutes easily, it was actually pretty fruitful.

  so here's what happened:.

  i see him and recognized him but he didn't know who i was at first as he hasn't seen me in at least a year and i've lost weight, have a goatee and dress way more awesome than i ever did as a dubb schlubb.. so i said hi to him by name and he says, who are you i'm not sure?

  Well done informative video of how the Watchtower Corporation psychologically damages people in its intent to control and exploit

  this youtube video put out by a once member of the jws, goes into concise detail the extraneous efforts the watchtower corporation intentionally goes into luring people into their organization to only exploit them as its own controlled and subservient sales representatives for their publishing empire.

  its a bit long to watch in both parts, it might be a good idea to just not watch it but rather listen to the audio portion alone.

  as the video plays along, how many points does this guy hit the nail on the head as to correctly identifying what is really happening and going on in this religious corporate hybrid organization ?.

  good morning jwn-land.. since my parents and my husband and i have learned ttatt we have been keeping quiet, mostly.

  we have held off on revealing our true names, my dad has held off joining jwn and telling his story because we have been waiting for one special event.

  GoJira you are not alone and there are A LOT OF US that are praying for you and sending out the good vibes. That also goes for hubby as well.

  Grandma's true colors are showing and it's sad that her form of worship of so ritualistic- it's such a pity.

  Good news may be in the cards for her (lol pun intended) and it definitely is for you as you are awake to TTATT and are getting out of the mindset.

  Yes there was some ulterior motives in his recording these. Don't we all have a few of those lol?? And his videos and his behavior are not perfect.

  Yet the WT Corps are destroying families and killing people through their blood policies. It's also allowing pedophiles to mix with families and children in its congregations and molest some of them, and it gains these perverts respect due to the elders hiding their pasts from everyone in the KH, even if they are done molesting.

  Does that merit more of these videos? Does it justify more recordings of their "secret inquiries?"

  I say YES! Yo dice Si se puede! (Just felt like busting out my iffy Spanish...)

  This fellow should be applauded as he has added yet another brick in the wall against this harmful cult!

  Sadly, watchtowerinformationservice like so many other dissident JW sites has been rated "dangerous" by WOT due to JW apologists and their sandbagging techniques.

  Those of you that want to help, please get a Web of Trust account and then rate the site positively, along with this one and all the other great ones like JWFacts, JWSurvey, JWStruggle, Watchtower Documents, etc.

  If we don't do that then many that stumble onto these will see a warning and will almost certainly click away.

  i love this topic.... stole it from a female talk radio host dr. sonia freeman in the chicago area decades ago.

  think and post a creative (not damaging, violent, or illegal) action that would piss off those who shun us.

  here is an example: many years ago when my hubby was still an elder he collected the mail for the kh.

  well i spent a few weeks putting this one together it took sooooo much longer than i thought it would, but as you know, a few of us many of us on jwnet spend way too much time fighting the "watchtower power" hehe.

  Priceless!

  There are many here in my part of the USA that dress up quite a lot in field serve-us and they bring their huge Tahoes and Escalades out so 7-8 can ride around and visit while a couple get out at a time and slowly trudge to an RV.

  They walk soooooo sloooooowly when doing territory too, and are in animated conversation with each other as they go down the street, showing that they mainly want to talk about their own stuff with their friends as opposed to really reaching anyone with the "good news". In my area they are all over at 10 am on a Saturday morning it's easy to watch their behavior. I walked right past a group of them one Saturday morning recently and not one of them stopped to give me a tract or even say hello- they were too absorbed in their own conversations to bother.

  This is what an average person observes, so the people wonder why they are going so slow, what they are selling, they are suspicious of their motives, etc. That's the "huge impact" the JWs have when they enter and exit a neighborhood for the most part.

  Are some folks encouraged? Yes. Are some JWs different than this? Yes, a few. But not many IMO...
