It may be Cthulu's influence on me...
TBH, it looks more like Medusa's locks.

my undisputed hero of the bible is known by several names, depending on who you talk to...devil, satan, lucifer, etc.. read it, and you'll find that he was the only one who really stood up for you.. he asserted that you could make decisions for yourself...and told you the very real truth that, just because the piece of meat in your chest stops thumping, you positively do not 'die'.. he was your hero.
he stood up to a daddy-maniac and said, 'just because you made us doesnt mean you have the right to tell us what to do.
i thought we were free?'.
Just for the sake of argument, tec, why didn't Adam and Eve deserve the knowledge from the Tree of Knowledge?
Why was knowledge a bad thing, and why was a test even put to begin with? What boggles me more is why the state of being naked is wrong to begin with...
the anonymity of the internet is both a blessing a curse for the information age, especially when it comes to debate.
when a screen is put over the person, all that you are left with are ideas in a pure form; written word that constitutes a set of ideas, reasons and thoughts.
anyone can sit and analyze and form a response at their leisure.
Thanks for this Johathan, it's a keeper!
Avatar, you are a hoot!
i've just uploaded the third article in my four-part "under the microscope" series - looking at the society's claims to be god's sole channel with mankind.

I've always thought about the natives in, say, the Amazon. The ones that don't want any outside contact for fear of disease. I wonder what Jehovah plans to do with those heathens?
Not necessarily. If prophecy were not vague, and absolutely came true, that would certainly be a sign.
libertad!
though my story is a bit more complicated than that.
i live in argentina.
Moshe, your white kin commited attrocities as well. Why not blanket all the races then? Please, do go on with your list, and don't just stereotype the hispanics. By all means, go ahead. I'd like to hear your "intellectually stimulating" comments.

FHN, I agree in that priests can be trained psychologically as well to deal with traumas and abuse, but unfortunately, aren't they also a big portion of perpetrators of such abuses?
Elders are limited in any "help" they can provide. Anything deserving a JC can't be let slide.
