James, it's not epic until the new phrased is mentioned.
Will-be-apostate, don't be a dope.
well, it seems like i am going to ruin the domination of raypublishers' topic at this section of the board.
:d. now back to the topic.
the last month i was trying to get "closer" to my classmates and to the others from my highschool.
James, it's not epic until the new phrased is mentioned.
Will-be-apostate, don't be a dope.
hey, wizard.
i've always seen many of your posts, but i've never actually spoken directly to you.
i've noticed your a satanist.
Hey, Wizard. I've always seen many of your posts, but I've never actually spoken directly to you. I've noticed your a Satanist. My question is, are you a Deistic Satanist, or LaVeyan? If you are Deistic, do you believe you communicate with Satan himself? Why are you Satanist? What exactly do you gain from being one? I'm really curious why someone would cross to the 'dark side' of the force... LOL. Thanks in advance.
P.S. do you think other forms of the occult match up with Satanism? My friend has had experiences with Santeria (white magic) and has also had experiences with Palo Mayombe (black magic).
one of the accusations against christ that some people make to me from time to time is that christ never spoke out against slavery, and so he must condone it.. i would submit that slavery (the forcible enslaving of your fellow man)... is not the root problem.
it is merely a symptom of the root problem.
christ came to deal with the root.
How about this text? Is Paul in favor of slavery by returning the slave, Onesimus? Or would the slave now be getting much better treatment?
Philemon 1:11-20
11 Formerly he was useless to you, but now he has become useful both to you and to me.
12 I am sending him—who is my very heart—back to you. 13 I would have liked to keep him with me so that he could take your place in helping me while I am in chains for the gospel. 14 But I did not want to do anything without your consent, so that any favor you do would not seem forced but would be voluntary. 15 Perhaps the reason he was separated from you for a little while was that you might have him back forever— 16 no longer as a slave, but better than a slave, as a dear brother. He is very dear to me but even dearer to you, both as a fellow man and as a brother in the Lord.
17 So if you consider me a partner, welcome him as you would welcome me. 18 If he has done you any wrong or owes you anything, charge it to me. 19 I, Paul, am writing this with my own hand. I will pay it back—not to mention that you owe me your very self. 20 I do wish, brother, that I may have some benefit from you in the Lord; refresh my heart in Christ.
this may have been covered here, if so iam sorry.. other then the bible, what evidence do they use?.
i am waiting for the minister to show me proof.
i told him.
By theologies? The 'evidence' is the geneaology record from Jesus to Adam. It's in Matthew 1 and Luke 3.

Re: Why aren't you an Atheist?
Why does it matter?
the missing 21 year old woman in oregon got me thinking...so many jws comment on her fb page 'praying for you'...'constant daily prayers' etc.
what is the point?
i know it is a natural human emotion, to want to contribute in some small way when something bad happens.
I always doubted. Things didn't quite add up. "Why did prayer work for them, but not for me?" I would chalk up those inconsistencies to, "God has a time for everything, he's in charge, he knows what he's doing."
I'm a naturalist, I believe everything has natural as opposed to a supernatural explanation.
how suicidal thoughts can take over your life.. i lived most of my life thinking about suicide.
i have clear memories when i was 8 years old thinking about what it would be like to die.
i went to sleep every night of my young childhood saying the prayer:.
I don't want to be the next person everybody is talking about.
Thank you for sharing, Lady Lee. There is always someone willing to lend a helping hand. I can relate. I've had some of those thoughts myself over the years, and I'm lucky I've been able to bounce back.
was just going through a few topics and this caught my attention, and since that thread looks pretty much dead i thought i would create a new one to add my thoughts .. so i would start by replying to as much criticisms as i can okay.
@jam: .
the purpose of the flood, because man grieved him to.
Why did God allow the angels to procreate with female humans (I wonder why no angels were gay, given they are the ones that are supposed to induce that sort of inappropriate behavior, according to Christians)?
Aren't the hybrid populations what screwed up the earth? How would women have fought off predatory angels? LOL, I invented a new term, predatory angel.
hello everyone, i'm not on here much these days, but thought this might be worth the post for you veteran x-dubbies to help me.. .
i've got a min servant and his wife coming over this sunday.
the brother has already called me up and invited me to his first public talk that day, which i respectfully declined.
Authentic in that it didn't plagerize from other religions before it? We know that's bs.
Accurate in that the miracles and other stories such as the Flood and Creation account are 100% factual? Also bs.
Another line of argumentation to consider is Biblical canonization.

I agree that Outlaw's position seems reasonable, but I will repeat again, if God exists, why doesn't he settle the debate once and for all?
