by hawkaw inas of 6:02 pm last night i received a facsimile from paul hoeffel at the un on the wts.. he gave me 3 of the 4 things i requested in two paragraphs.. i have sent a scanned version to steve bates and someone else.. i sent it to kent and randy.
and kent and randy have posted the official united nations letter on their web sites.. here is the letter - put your cursor on the image and then right click on your mouse and hit "save image" to your computer.. .
after you look at kent's web site and you people still think this it is a fake letter, phone paul hoeffel yourself at (212) 963-8070.. hawk

Active JW and ex-bethelite responding to UN issue
by lookin ini have to respond to the letter sent to the branches from the wtb&ts.. first: the explanation from mike pence is right on the money.
i am still an active jw who was at bethel for several yrs.
and in good standing with my local congregation.

My biggest concern is that if I was able to get this letter, how many more brothers and sisters without the organizational background will get this and flip out? I am not naïve about the organization, our faith or life. I have been put through a lot in my young yrs of only 32. But if I am questioning it, I know that other brothers and sisters are questioning it. If the apostates got hold of this-just think “Wathtower Society part of the United Nations from 1992-October 2001.” That would not be good. Maybe I am making more of this than necessary, but it does not look good on the Internet. Especially when you go onto the United Nations web site and the official address, fax number, phone number of the society and what group that they are associated with, Human Rights.

I have to respond to the letter sent to the branches from the WTB&TS.
First: The explanation from Mike Pence is right on the money. I am still an active JW who was at Bethel for several yrs. and in good standing with my local congregation. However I have questioned it to my congregation- and they were very surprised. I live in the USA also.
One question, why did they not cc it to the GB? I personally wrote a GB member and sent the letter-still waiting for response. I do not think that ALL members of the GB are informed of what other brothers are doing. I know that for a fact!The explanation of why they did what they did is weak to an active JW. I am not an apostate and do believe what Jehovah wants us to do. Jehovah has the power to manuever whatever He wants wherever He wants. I believe it was a major mistake for certain "brothers" to do what they did and belong to what they belonged to. Not all the brothers agreed that this should have been done back in 1991. (inside infor) i know for a fact. being friends with brothers who were part of it at that time.
I have to remain anonymous!! this could totally jeopordize my standing in the congregation.
While I believe that this is Jehovah's organization. I am not so stupid to believe that certain "brothers" are VERY corrupt in the thinking they have, not humble and last but not least-not servants of Jehovah but corporate men only!

the information presented is true. it does not make sense but true.
i firmly believe that those who put themselves above jehovah will be taken care of. it shows a lack of humility on certain "brothers" parts to do these things. many were aware that the "association" existed and many disagreed as far back as 94
i would like to remain anonymous as i am still active and know many many people in bethel.
