  i wonder if any of you guys are experts in interpreting dreams... .

  as far back as i can remember, my dreams were always dark; there was no light of any kind.

  i was always running away from something, but i could never run fast enough; i seemed to move in slow motion and others were always moving faster than me.

  Not an expert here, no ...but I did notice that in both dreams you are flying. I don't have an interpetation, but the dreams left me with questions. In your teen-aged dream, could the alien you were communicating with possibly have been an inner aspect of yourself? Maybe all the characters in your dreams are really you ? maybe in the second dream your flight to a rural area is you exploring/visiting a wild, untamed place in your heart? Then your return to "civilization" you see a statue (you?) that is forever trapped in an earthbound pose, never having had the chance to fly wild and free (?)

  obviously these dreams must mean something.

  That they have made such a deep impression on you shows that they do. Wish I knew what they meant, but I have always felt that the dreamer is often the best interpeter of their own dreams...

  Last night my dad tried to commit suicide

  i'm still blown away by it.

  when i went out the door this morning to take the kids to school (7:15 a.m.) i turned on my cell phone and there were two messages from his retirement home, both saying that he had fallen at about 4:30 a.m. and was being taken to the hospital.

  i called the hospital and they told me that he said he had taken 18 xanax in an effort to kill himself.

  I'm so sorry to hear this..you are looking out for his welfare by not letting the elders have access to him...sending thoughts of comfort and hopes that his recovery goes well...

  last night, my wife zazu, had a stroke.

  she is in the hospital, and will be there for a least a week.

  she can still think clearly and converse.

  PLEASE READ

  before my dad went into surgery he asked that i contact the people on this board and let them know how much it ment to him much it ment to him over the past month or so to be able to talk with all of you.. this is one of the few things in his life he could still enjoy.dad wanted to especially thank craig (ona ) for accepting him and apologies for anything he said that might have offended you.. my father was in so much pain over the past seven years ,god must have thought it was time,dad passed a few houres after surgery.. dad asked not to have a service and will be cremated than placed in an urn ( as he said "so he can keep an eye on mom" ) we all loved him deeply and he will be missed.

  i will leave the company email should anyone want to,i will print them out for mom and the family to read.. again thanks to all, our love is with each and every one of you.. matthew mc cune [email protected]

  but, since i dont plan on being around [here] much longer, what the hell?

  for some time now, we have discussed and expressed our outrage and horror at child molestation.

  <p>i am a much happier person now that i've excepted the fact that&nbsp;i will die one day.

  </p> <p>for 23 years i've been brought up in the jehovahs witness religion, and recently i found myself on the outside looking in, not the inside desperately seeking the answer and trying to please god, feeling guilty when&nbsp;i missed meetings etc...but no more.

  it's taken a while to de-program myself in thier way of thinking.
