  Gerrit Loesch was at our DC today!

  so, unexpectedly, the final talk was announced today and to my surprise and evil glee, they announced gerrit loesch as the speaker!

  first off, at the beginning of his talk, he interrupted himself in the middle of his sentence to scold the microphone brother to lower my mike it's right in my face.. anyway, it was the talk on inspired truth, vs. inspired falsehoods.

  he went through 6 expressions inspired by the demons.

  What!?!!??! I completely know I'm fallible so I expected I'd be wrong / missed some of the points. But Holy whackadoodle! I know i definitely didn't mess it up that much!

  1 and 2 were the same, but these other ones - totally different!

  We will definitely do our very best to post "our" rendition for the forum. My FiL said he had it.

  Invites, Parking and the DC - a true laughable story

  i'm in a major uk city, and we're assigned to an out of city location for our district convention.. to set the scene this site is off a busy motorway (freeway).

  it's a football (soccer) stadium.

  there is nothing around aside from one petrol (gas) station which also has a tiny supermarket in it.

  the jw's under ban in a " landmark ruling", our faithful brother conversing with job in the new world, it' all too wonderful!

  It's interesting. I'm glad you mentioned this, DATA! I didn't even think of that when I saw it yesterday; maybe that's why the modern-day Job's wife didn't show up! Very weird. The whole drama was very weird.

  Funny you bring up football. I fully expected Gerrit to rail on football again, but he did not. The farthest he came today was talking about people sending way too much time on sports.

  In other news, Loesch released the new release this afternoon - repackaged Imitate their Faith articles from the recent magazines.

  Guess they're not releasing the by-now-infamous revision to the NWT, eh?

  This afternoon's talk was really dry, definitely a manuscript. In fact, the entire program today was boring except for the Beware of Apostates symposium, which wasn't too interesting anyway.
