Nope. It's pretty clear. I hurt your feelings, probably without realizing it, at some point in the past. Now the abuse you are used to coupled with the accidental hurt feelings makes you want me and because you can't have me, you lash out. I would never laugh at your sad situation.

EP --- now, I dunno, just going on what I've heard/read but you're indicating a follower of Jesus (preacher/minister) is to be self-supporting yet what about the disciples/Jesus staying with friends being fed and housed. Is this not support?

That's not at all what I said. I am asking about getting paid a salary for something that, according to their own holy book, should be done freely.

Comparing church to a non-profit is a false analogy. Saying the church has rent or that the preacher spends time doing other things isn't answering the question. Saying times are different is simply skirting the question and trying to not answer it.

Why is preaching a salaried position when, according the very holy book they cherish says to NOT do that thing?

Blah blah blah about what your friend does on a daily basis is not an answer. I didn't ask about ancient Israel or for information on what they do that isn't preaching. If your friend is getting paid to do stuff that isn't preaching, then he should just get a job doing that stuff, call it "getting paid for being really nice" and preach for free, like Jesus said. In either case, though, you are telling me all the stuff he does that has nothing to do with my question.
