  Do we know for a FACT that GZ was not brandishing said gun?

  Ironically, were I to open carry where anyone could see my weapon, that's 110% legal. Were to carry concealed and, in a conflict, even show that I was carrying, that's brandishing and considered assault. So, if I were to carry and my shirt accidently gets pulled up over my pistol and someone sees it and feels threatened, I have just magically commited assault. Another reason I rarely carry despite the fact I am licensed and trained to do so.

  The trial is over, it was self defense therefore TM was the attacker.

  GZ was carrying a gun. The greater burden was on him to do anything he could to prevent the situation or, if unavoudavle, to prevent escalation from occuring. He did absolutely EVERTHING wrong. Does that make him a murderer? I dunno. Does it make him responsible for the situation existing in the first place? F*ck yes. Without that gun, he would NEVER have been there confronting TM and never would have been creating the situation.

  He should NEVER have put himself in that situation. That's the the key. As a person carrying a gun (but not a LEO), he willingly created a situation where someone died.

  To be perfectly honest, as much as I love shooting (at the range) and hunting, that is one of the reasons I rarely carry a weapon.

  As a conceled carry licensed person, the first three rules are avoid, avoid and avoid. Being licensed to carry means I also carry a greater burden to prove that I did nothing to create or escalate a conflict. If I am in a verbal conflict and I don't walk away, I am to blame if a shooting happens. If someone punches me and I don't walk away, I am to blame if it escalates into a shooting.

  GZ should have put in the call and walked away. Whether he was getting his ass kicked or not, he created the situation. Carrying a gun did NOT make him law enforcement.

  Prayers that God answers. Any examples?

  when i believed in god i tried not to pray for anything selfish.. after a while i began to think that a lot of things i was asking my imaginary friend in the sky for were selfish for some reason.. i do not ever remember a single thing i prayed for ever being answered.

  if there was the appearance of an answer it was because i did mental gymnastics to make it fit the delusion that god had actually answered me.

  there was never an obvious message/answer from god.

  Why does god kill children?

  i was thinking about all the accounts in the bible that indicate god kills children as a punishment or teaching experience.

  1. kills all of egypts firstborn sons, who were innocent kids who did nothing to him or his people, who had no control over the decisions pharoah made.

  how many times have you read that account or thought about it without realizing the devastating pain dealt to all those parents, and remembered those were innocent kids?.

  Abraham was prepared to do that, but spoke in faith. Regarding walking back with Isaac... and that God would provide the sacrifice.

  That's not at ALL what the scriptures say. They say that Abraham had faith God would resurrect Issac after he was killed, not that God would provide a sacrifice.

  Seriously. Can you, for a moment, stop making up things the scriptures don't say and simply address what is written?

  Of course He is made mention of in the OT. The Life (the Tree of Life).

  Made up. That doesn't mention Jesus, allude to him or mention his properties.

  Talking about two entirely different passsages there, EP.

  We were both talking about Abraham.

  Because men don't want the simple Truth. They want complicated; they want other men to lead them; they want kings over them, etc.

  simple: bible is not inspired.

  complicated: page after page explaining why a voice in your can tell you what's true, what's not, what's right, what's in error, etc etc etc etc.

  WE are in Adam's image, coming after Adam, into these bodies that Adam was given AFTER he sinnned and knew death.

  Sin is a genetic disoder that is inheritable? Do tell more.... can your Jesus explain exactly how sin is inherited?
