... how truly great this place is.. i have not been on many forums, but i think this one is unique and strong in a very important way.
it is of course a support group for those exiting the wts, or trying to deal with remaining within it, first and foremost.
but the awesome thing about this place is how it welcomes everyone.
How much longer will the God of heaven tolerate this "place" before He brings judgement upon those in its midst?
LOL . . . this really is a fun thread isn't it?
they have chosen to highlight this article on their website:.
http://www.watchtower.org/e/200710/article_01.htm.
.
Jeez their callous duplicity is so transparent to those in the know . . .
The whole GB and all their lawyers belong in jail. They're criminals . . . nothing more.
.
.
how well do you think about we can get the word out about the watchtower's embarrassing pr disaster before witnesses attend their conventions?.
I typed Sparlock into the search box on FB . . . there are pages and pages of people with Sparlock as their middle name. What a hoot.
Cedars . . . can't wait.
watchtower ruins a wedding .
today i added a new article to my blog addressing the sad consequence to individuals lives the result of watchtowers infantile doctrinal policy making.
its the story of a man (and a woman) disfellowshipped for something watchtower later on decided was not immoral.
One can only hope the D/Fing became a positive for them . . .
when i close my laptop tonight, i am sleeping for a few hours, taking a plane to lax, going fishing off the coast of catalina, playing golf, going to bishop to go trout fishing for a few days, taking the redeye back, picking up my kids and taking them to the zoo.. so, when, shortly, i close my laptop, it will be roughly one week hence before you have the pleasure of my wit, comedy and all around general awesomeness.. have a hell of week, folks..
Sounds like my last date! Ta-da!
Only if you're still talking about it years from now . . .

I take it you play?
Obviously you've forgotten my hole-in-one 6 months ago. I'm glad I was here to remind you.
I haven't played golf outside of NZ . . . but we have some great courses here.
Have a good one.

[endif]just read bublegum's post and was going to post there but realised it would be off topic.. it got me thinking - as did some of the other atheist threads - why are religious people scared or atheists?
Not all religious people are the same (and not all atheists are good examples either). People will screw up any ideology, philosophy, religion, or group—an ass is an ass, regardless of the group the animal might make claim to. Maybe that's why I may not have a lot of religious friends. I don’t accept anyone on their claim to any creed alone, and I’ve yet to see an atheist not want to be friends with me. . . . OldGDude
Well said . . . Discussion and debate would not be threatening without a pre-existing fear.

Poor choice of words, my apoligies. Many Atheists?
Too late . . . your confirmation bias has escaped, and is running around for all to see.
It's only 'some' religious people that are scared of their faith being tested, imho.
Agreed . . . fear brings on the "flight or fight" response in some form.
