I've had many years close contact to different missionaries in assignments all over the world. And I noticed that many of them said, that people were "lovely, warm hearted, etc." but that it was a big hurdle to accept that the "true religion" was basically american and had "corporation taste" all over it...they took long, long hard conversations to hammer that into these poor minds.

I asked one of these missionaries: "What if Jehovah had choosen Saudi Arabia as the country to start this thing. How would Americans and Europeans accept a guy saying that gods true organization is in Saudi Arabia...." He laughed and said that it was divine direction to setup foot in Brooklyn.....lol

Ray, totally true. I asked once a "higher up" from the Service Department and he shrugged his shoulders and said "it is a nice way to introduce new talk outlines to the existing sortiment" (not the exact sentence, but you get the idea).

It is special in he sense of: "oh, we are out of cornflakes, lets refill the box already".

If you think scratching your nose (or balls) for 40 minutes is special than you missed a great opportunity in 2011!

Yes! God likes Americans and Brits and Germans. The Proclaimers book says that Hitler probably invaded Europe because "there were the highest concentrations of annointed JWs living".

Since he choose to setup HQ in USA, it is a fact that the first thousands of annointed where white, middle-upper class, male americans, followed by brits and germans. So, there you have it.

Aahhh, since a religion founded and started in the US, this delayed the acceptance of the "true religion" in Asian, African and Arabic countries (harder to swallow, preaching started relatively late in some of these countries) > survival chance: lower participation of vietnamese as rulers in heaven: very low.

There you have it, God is a white, male, bearded man that loves Apple pie....

the july 15 wt mentioned how god is still resting...confident that his plan is being worked out.

for some reason i had never thought about why the hell god would even need or want a "rest day"....i mean for crying out loud according wt god only created one thing....da baby jesus.

....and gluttony! When did you read about eating too much? It is mentioned in the same bible line as drunkness and fornication...and yet, the SOC$ never addresses this. Eating too much will also cause mental problems and unfocused thinking....

The bible & religion always bashed SEX and EROTIC but welcomed murder and death. F$#% these people...

....what is so wrong with naked bodies and sexual relations? At least that is something natural....murdering people seems to be more natural to lovely bible readers....

Today's WT Study Stupidity About Df'ing

in today's watchtower study, towards the end, you had one of those typical comments by a former df'ed witness expressing appreciation for being shunned.

these comments always remind me of a stalinist show trial in which the accused enthusiastically accepts being executed for the greater good (probably to save his family).. after this kind of nonsense is expressed, you will get a flurry of self righteous comments emphasizing how important it is to shun your disfellowshipped relatives, so that they can come back in the "truth".. oh, really?

do any of these people raising their hand realize that, if the "success" of disfellowshipping depends on your shunning, then the "repentant" person is "coming back in the truth" for the sake of their relatives -and not because of fearing jehovah !!!???.

I saw a lot of screwed up faces from both visitors and witnesses and there was a huge lack of comments on that whole section (the other ones either husbands or wives were quick to comment on "you shouldn't drink" it's an issue among wives in our congregation and "you shouldn't watch pornography", I guess it's an issue everywhere). The cheap stab at "Twilight, the series" in the picture (VeinLove, the series, the number of letters actually matches Twilight) and the ugliest wife with button-up pajama's in the other picture, I would need some porn too to get hot for that.

NOBODY raised their hand at the porn section of this study, so the conductor (he is hipocritical, arrogant elder) goes like: "Soo, nobody knows anything about pornography, then?" A older sister raised her hand....(she is 67.....) Hahahahahahaha.... I told the regular pioneer sister that was sitting next to me "Hey babe, can you stroke me..." ehm...wrong line...I told her: "The more we talk about a topic, the more people will become curious...isn't it?" She said: "Yes, you are probably right...."
