If you were GOD, Would you create subordinate creatures just to have them satiate your ego?(Think worship, here folks, our only purpose!) I find it interesting to think that so many of God's qualities are those that are stipulated as reasons for condemnation in humans. (we're made in his image, you know!) I don't know what that southern rock song is. But , I,ve been amazed by how very familiar lyrics (favorite songs at the time) seem so foreign when taken out of their era and stripped of musical accompaniment! Uriah Heep is correct and I,ve got a notion that you probably don't look favorably upon them as a musician (Which I am not!). The critics responded to them in unkind manner, yet at the time (early seventies) they were an ever present backdrop and reference to some of the best times I,ve ever had ( and shouldn't have as a WITLESS)!
How's 'bout this southern band:

Your combined posts just jogged my memory, and I,m now convinced that I gave Comf some misinformation in my clues about Arizona. It was Mark Lindsey, but not when he was with The Raiders.
