  Is Shunning a Form of Bullying?

  if it were done by a group of children in school to another student the school would consider it a form of bullying.

  are dubs bullying other dubs when they do this?

  to me it seems like a form childish behavior that you would only expect to see in grade school..

  im not a victim so there not bullying me

  many jws still speak to us but no family

  so i wonder if anyone has worked out why the ones who are supposed to care for you most treat you the worst

  JWs and the Family Unit - Calling Maze to defend assertions

  in the thread about the wt in russia, maze made the assertions below.. .

  jehovah's witnesses as an organization acts as a protection to the family unit.

  andthe lie that jehovah's witnesses ruin families is apostate poison.. to aviod derailing that thread, i ask maze to defend them here.. my experience is that the jw religion destroyed my brothers' marriage.

  i dont really care for stats

  in my case the simple fact is that myself my wife and our children have no contact with there jw relatives

  they dont know there grandparents even though they live in the same town on the other hand there cousions who also live here have a totally different relationship with them they are jws

  in fact i find that relatives are more inclined to follow the shunning policy then other witnesses

  any religion that breaks the bonds between parent and child is not healthy

  im resigned to the fact that i will never speak to my parents ever again

  without appearing like a crazy person i try and explain to people jw shunning policy and we have enough respect in the local community for people to appear sympathetic

  i wonder if they sit at home thinking how good it would be to be all talking

  so from my personal experience jw do destroy families

  i remember in the 80s at a convention that a high ranking gov offical had progressed to elder status in russian cong

  the speaker said many may question whether appointments were by holyspirit would jehovah appoint a spy

  it appears he would testing there faith get this it would also prepare them for the great tribulation

  - some loser once took offense that i hugged a sister goodbye at a leaving do and ran back to the elders like a little child telling on me.

  i was 15, this sister was in her 40s at the time.. - this elder said someone told him they saw me with a copy of the sun newspaper.

  yes, this paper is known for its 'page 3' topless girls but far from pornagraphic and i wasn't even thinking along those lines.. - one brother who had a good job was 'counselled' because he was actually able to buy himself nice things including a new car (shock, horror!!

  i stumbled a new publisher by saying i liked church arcitecture hauled in to 3 elders when i pointed out that there was nothing wrong with a church structure as many kh were once old churches they backed down .

  for a brand new witness to dob me in shows how there policing mentality starts very early

  i always had a chuckle when at the convention they warned you about going into gambling venues while we are all sitting in the racecourse stands listening
