  Those who defend Norwegians and Norway, thank you. You help make the point. Those who saw this as a "turn-about is fair play," thank you too. You got the point.

  The Reuters article was published June 21. The media will say anything about any nation at any time. Non-Americans can now begin to see how self-righteous and arrogant some have been in so easily judging the USA. The USA is grossly misunderstood by many non-Americans. When Americans see your ignorant and assinine statements that judge over 280 million people and its government - it must seem quite revolting to them. When sme make such stereotypical bigoted comments against the USA, it speaks volumes as to their level of education and intelligence, or more precisely their lack thereof.

  OSLO (Reuters) - Norway said Friday it would defy an international ban on commercial whaling and resume exports of whale meat to Iceland after a 14-year break. Oslo said it would issue an export licence to a whaling company in the next few days to send 10-15 tons of minke whale meat to the North Atlantic island, although whales are on an international list of endangered species.

  Arrogant Norwegians don't care about these poor endangered creatures. Norwegians terrorize this vulnerable species. If only Norwegians would look outside their own little dark country to see what the rest of the world thinks of them. Norwegians just don't understand anything because of their ignorance of the environment. Their radical, selfish left-winged government is probably in cahoots with Osama bin Laden.

  i received a call from the baltimore sun today three jw victims came forward and they are doing a story.

  evansville tv news crew doing a story today on jw molestation because a victim came forward.

  more articles coming out in the tennessean due to more victims coming forward.

  to those that know information or material from previous bound volumes i need your help so i may confront my brother on his hypocrisy.. -what year, month, and date wt or awake dealt with roleplaying games and why they are inappropriate?.

  -what article discusses why movies with wizardry or sorcerer/magic themes are inappropriate?.

  -what website shows the information that allegedly ex members are not shunned?.

  During the 1970s the Awake, I think, came out against the role playing game, Dungeons and Dragons.

  The jwmedia.org, under the 'FAQ' discusses shunning, and how those who simply cease to be involved are 'not shunned.'

  a quick introduction then on to my 2nd post *smiles*.... general greetings & well wishes.....i'm new to jwd, but not new to xjw/jw chat.

  Most churches do not disfellowship anyone. Where members get involved in child abuse and molestation, usually the parents go to the authorities. The parents or gaurdians never see any conflict with such reporting. They do not see it as a blemish on the church. When church leaders get involved in these acts they are fired, and reported to the authorities.

  Routinely, Witness parents are encouraged to let the Elders handle a situation, or they are told not to report because ti will bring reproach on the organization. The Elders do not report because they see no ethical or moral obligation to do so. The person who sent you the email does not understand these important differences.

  met me on my lunch hour, driving the new 1970 buick he had just won in a national sales contest and explained the program: 25% straight commission as a self-employed sales operative.. the following monday, i met g.t.

  i wish to make a comment on something that disturbs me deeply to the point i cannot let it pass or be ignored.

  a little over a year ago i resigned as an elder to protest wt policy and how it hurt children.

  the impetus that brought me to that conclusion was a child i knew personally that was in danger.

  Proof has its place in most discussions on boards where allegations are made on less painful issues. SL and others are correct in exempting molestation victims from further demands of proof from discussion boards. We are not here to add to their pain. The courts will be painful enough for the victims.

  Former Elders and Friendly Fire

  i fought many years from inside as an independent spirit trying to change or at least mitigate damage done by the wtbts.

  i met ted jaracz, in the early 1970s when he was called into bethel to serve on the gb.

  this mans control of the service department and the gb is what i have fought for 3 decades but recently conceded this system is beyond reforming.

  The world is filled with the Ted Jaracz and JF Rutherfords. These are the type of people who push their way to the limelight by shoving anyone in their way, out of the way. Some stand around and praise this. Others stand around stunned or do not know what to do. The rest walk away. How many again have left the board recently?
