  An angel? No, but we do have a little ghosty that like to move things around that we are looking for. Especially keys, when you know where you left them and turn the house upside down looking for them only to find them where you looked in the first place. It happens with other things too, but it REALLY likes keys. Don't tell me I'm crazy because it happens with everyone in the house. It also has a preference to have a light on in one bedroom. I have to turn the light off constantly, I know I have turned it off because I have made a consious effort to ALWAYS turn this light off due to this problem. It's OK, I would rather have the little practical joker, it's a lot more fun.

  am i the only one who gets incredible irritated by the excuse "they are only human"?

  Only human, yes, but if you believe in an almighty being did he not give us all the brain for logic and reasoning? Not to mention commen sense, all of which seem to escape the average JW. Just being human is nothing but a cop out for not using your brain to logically explore or expose an obvious conclusion.

  ...A Doggie Day in Hell...

  ever have one of those days..when you go outside,and part of your dogs throat has been ripped out?...

  that was the begining of my day... i have no idea what attacked him..whatever it was,was f*cking vicious!

  !..there was a 2 inch hole of missing fur and skin on his neck.....and a severed artery......also a 2 inch hole of missing fur and skin on his leg.....and..another severed artery.....there was blood everywhere... the nearest vet is 1 1/2 hours away..i phoned in and told the doctor to be ready for me... i tied the dogs wounds up with tee-shirts to try to minimilize the bleeding..then put a 100 lb bleeding dog,in the back of the truck..........poor dog tried to stand up in the truck..his neck started to gush with blood..i got him to lie down..the bleeding slowed.....i jumped in the truck and drove..that was one long hour and a half... the doctor came out..looked at the dog,ran back in and brought out a stretcher..it took three of us to bring him in so he would`nt move around..that dog has spunk!..lol!!.

  So happy to here that your dog is one the mend! I had to put mine down about 2 years ago, I knew it was coming (she was a 16 year old lab) but it didn't help the hurt. I would have done whatever I could to keep her alive but it was time to let her go. Good luck on your baby!

  Hi F&W!

  I don't post a lot here but like you every morning (or waking minute!) read the board. My husband and I were both "born in's" and he was being groomed for the ms & elder programs. I however never bought into the whole thing and found this board along with others and confirmed ALL of my doubts and began sharing them with my hubby. Needless to say we started a fade but my MIL thought that this was all my idea (where did she get that?) and sent the dear little elders to speak to me. I have always been rather outspoken ( not good JW wife material) and when they came to my door one afternoon asking the questions I knew to be of disfellowshipping material I simply said that "that is a long story, one which I do not wish to discuss at this time. They accecpted this and did not hassle me, of course it helped that I had a rather large dog at the time that would not allow them to enter my home (good dog! I sure miss her!) They have never been back! They tried calling several times, I simply did not answer the phone. One elder tried numerous times to "help" my husband at his place of business, even so far as to say that the end would come by the end of the year (2008). Hum, wonder why he hasn't been back since than?

  My issues with women ...

  i have always viewed women as more clever, manipulative, and intelligent than me.

  no, i never walked around voicing my bias ... yet, over time, i must confess i have been afraid of the opposite sex.

  it has only been in recent times that i have begun to fairly evaluate each individual by their conduct and not their gender.. why do i bring this matter up on this particular site?

  The problem with lumping all women into the category of conniving, sly, sex fiends is about the same as saying all men are cheats & drunks and beat their wives. Sure, these are the ones you hear about the most, but, it doesn't mean this is most of the population. I have been married to my husband for 27 years and, yes, we are very happy! Most of all we are also best friends, WE DO NOT LIE TO EACH OTHER PERIOD! Communication is the key to a happy marriage, very open discussion even if you may disagree with the others opinion. It sounds to me that your mother may have "poisoned" you from the very beginning and this is what you thought women were, so this is what you looked for or at least expected. There are bad and good out there, you just have to weed through them. MM

  Is Being A Snitch A Popular Activity In The Kingdub?

  how often do dubs hear someone snitch about a wrong doing from a brother or sister?.

  how often do you hear of a snitch going to the elders to stir up a lynch mentality against a brother or sister?.

  is there some points being earned for all this or do they think jehovah will reward them for being a snitch?.

  Oh yeah! One of my mothers so called "friends" went to the elders when she read that a kid had been caught drunk & driving with the same name as my brother (who was NOT a witness, still living at home about 18). It's a fairly common name, did she come to my mother? No, she went running to the elders likity split. The elders came a running to my mother who promptly set them straight and demanded who had told them such a thing......they never were friends again after that.

  Buy the way, did I mention that her 2 sons had already been charged with burglery, grand theft auto, drug distribution?
