There's a really good book called The Parapsychology Revolution by Dr. Robert Schoch & Logan Yonavjak that compiles research into the topic of ESP, clairvoyance, and PSI that I highly recommend reading if you are interested in the topic.

i must admit now i can make my own choices i seem to have a fascination with it although haven't acted on it as a) am i just jumping into believing another load of rubbish?
and b) what if it really is the demons pretending to be loved ones!!

Anybody have any "REAL" experiences of spirit/demon activity? I'll explain.
by runForever ini know there is a lot of people on here that will say it is pure make believe but i am interested if anybody has had any real concrete things happen such as something moving or something appearing in the mirror etc.. anything just post it up here even if it wasn't much.

Thank you pronomono. Well I will put one out there for me. I was having a strange dream where I did feel like something evil was in it. It hunted me down after I had discovered it(in the dream). I had my hands at my sides because of freezing of fear(in real life). Then I felt what felt exactly like a finger press down on the high point of my cheek bone and then nothing more happened.
Being in a sleep state such as you were I wouldn't read too much into it myself.

JW Threatened me with Violence Today :)
by cofty ini popped into the supermarket for a few things after work today and found myself walking up an aisle alongside a couple who used to be in my tuesday group.
i see them reasonably often and always say hello much to their obvious annoyance.
i noticed that ian was sporting a shaggy beard.

AMBULANCE CHASERS
by azor injust have to vent as this has been commented on before.
some of you know about my son's condition and how he almost died had it not been for the transfusion he received.. my wife took him to the children's hospital for routine labs and pain in his leg.
on the way in she saw a jw cart right outside the outpatient exit.

Just wanted to send some love and well wishes to your son and your family. I hope he is on the road to recovery now.
It sickens me as well how they claim to be doing good for society when they do the opposite and allow people to die or waste their life. But we can't change that. All we can do is be here for one another and encourage one another to be the best versions of ourselves. Our happiness is the best revenge.

How to spot: a single JW sister
by purrpurr ini remember this time of year when jw's desend en mass on one area.
a fun game to play is "spot the..." whatever jw walking stereotype you choose.. so i thought i would play it with you guys, starting with how to spot a single jw sister.. i say, she will be dressed up to the nines, probably over dressed in fact, have hair immaculately coffied, make up plastered on, towering heels and be smiling at every brother in site.
all they need is a sign saying "pioneer, virgin, available for marriage!".

We used to have what was called "the meat market" at our district conventions. It was always so fun to sit and watch these desperate sisters flirt and parade around. You could tell their main mission was to hook somebody.
Way back when I was a JW, I resigned myself to the single life and was positive I would be single forever. But that's not what I wanted. I cried at the thought of my elderly self sitting at home alone. I had worked so hard to do all the things WT said to do to be a spiritual sister. Afterall, spirituality was what the brothers were supposed to be looking for, right? Nope. I quickly learned they could care less. They wanted the hottest chick. I was never about that. I worked hard on my inner self and even though I was intelligent, whitty and fun, no one bothered. I remember whem instant messaging first became popular and all the young JWs were on, I did an experiment where I pretended to be someone they didn't know. Low and behold, I had them in the palm of my hands, wanting to meet up when these same brothers would never even bother to say hello to me. Oh well, their loss. After I left I dated as I pleased. I never had to worry about the attention of men. I now have my man, a healthy relationship and a beautiful daughter. I couldn't be happier.
My poor siblings are all single except 1 and will forever be. I feel for them because they will never know what its like to have the loving touch of the opposite sex. And speaking of sex, it's great and that's normal but they will never know that. It saddens me to the core. But that's the choice they made, not me.

he is one of those elders that is very, very, petty.
if he drops by your house unexpected and notices that your kids are watching one of the star wars movies, he will counsel you for allowing your kids to watch any movie that has to do with war he will then make sure you are not recommended for any privilege.

Nope, never been happier in my life. In fact, I was depressed and in a very, very, very dark place with no love for myself being a JW. Leaving literally saved my life. Can't even really express how meaningful that was for me.
Most JW's don't have a carefree life. There are too many rules and regulations. It's being in an abusive relationship.
I envy no one. If there's something I want or improvements I can make to better myself and my situation, I take responsibility and make it happen. I can do that now that I'm flying free.
