Hidden From Jehovah's Witness videos
by Vortex inthis video deal with some really important information that i wanted to share with you all, looks like it may have hit a nerve in the watchtower, because the stock link he mentioned in the video has been taken down, it was up yesterday, he says he plays chess and anticipated they would do that, so he supplied a secondary link to the same information.
the entire 8 part series is very informative exposing alot about watchtower doctrine, and hidden elements.
here is the link to the video.. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i0lrdx3vpug.

Granted, these are holdings in a mutual fund with a diverse portfolio of holdings.
Lets not forget that there are socially responsible funds to choose from. That these funds even exist shows that there are non-JWs that are more concerned with clean investing than the JWs are.

Remember when you could wear casual clothes to the congregation book study?
by RULES & REGULATIONS ini would get home from work, eat dinner, shower and put on jeans,a shirt and gym shoes to the book study.
then, one day a letter was read where men would need to wear a suit and tie and the woman would have to wear dresses.
it was stated in a letter that the change was due to, '' giving a better witness to anyone who would watch us walking into our local congregation or a neighbor's house.''.

Must have been a local needs talk because it was never OK to wear jeans to the book study. Casual would mean business casual with a tie. -

So what you are saying Robert, is that every visit by an apostate to jw.borg is costing them certain “valuable things”? -

What was the strangest off-the-cuff remark you ever heard from and elder or higher appointee?
by donny ini showed up for saturday morning field service and i was partnered with an elder who had transferred to our congregation in the dallas, texas area from michigan.
i told him about a recent embarrassing moment where i had played a "worldly" song during the sunday meeting due to someone replacing the cassette i had placed in the cassette player late friday night that had the correct "kingdom melody.".
out of the blue he said "about 4 years ago i was giving the sunday talk and i kept sporting a boner from time to time which was bizarre since being horny and teaching about jehovah is typically not something one associates with one another.".

I was called arrogant by an elder once.
Every morning at the field service meeting it was the same thing. Who want's to drive? As a poor pioneer I was happy to use my car but generally didn't have a lot of money for gas. So I would say "We can use my car as long as people can chip in for gas". After a couple days of this he took me aside and told me he thought I was being arrogant by suggesting that we could only use my car if people gave me gas money.
Funny thing is I never saw him offer to use his car even once.

Reasons for leak and building stop story
by Gorbatchov ini have some feeling about the am2015 leak and the recent building stop story going arround.. it wouldn't surprise me that the information is a calculated leak.. - jw's are informal informed about the changes and adopt them informal.. - the building stop influences the concience of jw's for donating more money.. at the other hand, maybe there has occured a financial disaster for example they invested bilions in volkswagen.. gorby.

Blues the quote is:
Zion’s Watch Tower’ has, we believe JEHOVAH for its backer, and while this is the case it will never beg nor petition men for support.”
Oddly they used this quote in the Sep 15 WT claiming that they had not wavered from this policy.
So are they finally admitting they don't have Jehovah's backing? Or maybe they are admitting that they have emasculated the JW men so technically it isn't men they are petitioning.

The Borg going out of biz or a ruze, a time line.
by Crazyguy inwhen one connects the dots it's very intriguing.
i don't have all the details or in order but here's just some of the events.
2008 global financial melt down.

I was wondering about the effects of 2008 as well. Could they have thought it was the end and sold all their investments at the bottom?
I have questions\thoughts on unemployment among the JWs.
Did a lot of the high earners lose their jobs and have to cut back on their donations?
Or maybe lots of JWs in general lost their jobs and can't afford to donate much of anything anymore.
And since college is almost a requirement to getting a job these days maybe a lot of the younger ones that actually stay are going to college instead of getting a low paying job. And now they have to put off donating because of it. If reddit is any indication the dubs are actually encouraging college by telling the young ones they shouldn't go.

Maybe it is to take some of the sting out of it when they do announce it. This way they will already have some people who have come to terms with it and have already made up excuses in their own mind that they can share after the official announcement. -

Most translated website in the world?
by disposable hero of hypocrisy inhttps://www.tomedes.com/translator-hub/most-translated-website.php.
i wonder if this is true.
lots of people commenting after the article about how it's proof of g#ds blessing.. so if jw.borg ever gets overtaken in the rankings does that mean the blessing has left the building?.

And another thing, most world records are stupid accomplishments. Is this one also a stupid accomplishment? Let's ask ourselves a couple of questions to find out.
Even if you believe they have the true religion.
What real value does it have?
How many people have benefited in a tangible way?
Has the growth rate of the JW religion increased appreciably?

Does anyone else find their claim that this was all done by volunteers far less impressive than they seem to?
As already mentioned a commercial web site wouldn't really have a need to spend money doing this.
And it's hard to call JWs volunteers in the traditional sense. Especially people at Bethel.
