Hahaha are you serious?? Are you in my hall? Because my meeting is also at 9:30am! Well mine's actually going on right now so we must be in different time zones, maybe...

But anyway early meetings on a Sunday is just retarded! There's always less people and the ones that are there are half asleep!

And yeah cliques suck! Especially when you know it's all BS!

But sadly, when I was still believing in all of it, I was also part of that clique like that blonde sister that you mentioned.

I was always commenting and smiling, flirting with the sisters, (even the married ones) and kissed so much ass in the elder department that my spiritual lips were fluffy soft! Hahaha

But don't worry, it's only for a couple hours. Then your out!

Oh and god I hate it when they play anything watchtower related in the car! It's torture!

But thats what my iPod is for... Hehe

Hey there! Welcome to the forum! It's always nice when new ones join but it's even better when those around my age join too, (at least to me anyway!) (:

We can all relate a bit to your life. I'm currently in but mentally out since 2 years ago. It sucks but I know I'll be out soon haha not watchtower "soon" but worldy soon! It's good that atleast you have someone whom to go to! That's always a plus.

They way I'm starting to see & accept it is that when it comes to family in this religion, you know that there's no good way of getting out but the important thing is to let them know, maybe not with words but with your actions that you are happy being out and that you'll love them no matter what. It goes against the teachings of the society and they hate it but at least they'll know!

Anyway hope you can get out and move on with your life! It's an awesome, crazy world out there and it's waiting!

Congrats for being free (mentally) and also joining! Look forward to hearing more from you!

Well I haven't officially left yet but I've done some pretty crazy things already, but I recently did something so funny and exiting that I'm still laughing about it now!

So me and another brother who has been disillusioned by the wtb&ts and is in the current fading process decided to snoop around at a circuit assembly that wasn't ours. (we were only there because the sound department needs our help and they don't have any other better "spiritually strong & qualified" brothers and it's good to get away and explore other places while we're there)

We went into a part of the rented assembly place that was "off limits" when in reality we've been there before and know that place inside out. It's like a basement but extremely huge! I compare it to that scene in batman begins where Bruce is test driving the bat mobile!

So anyway we were headed for the bathrooms there and my friend hit the light switch turning all the lights on which got the floor attendants attention. Then me and the brother looked at each other, smiled and started running away for the exit!

An attendant also ran towards another door, opened it and yelled, "hey stop! You are not authorized to be here!" And I just turned around and yelled, "screw you & your authority!" and got out through another door, got in an elevator and headed back to the top floor. We stayed at the sound desk the entire time laughing our asses off!

All throughout the day we kept seeing attendants scanning the area with their walkie talkies in their hand. They never found us.

But I do believe there will be crazier things that will be done once I left.

How long did it take you to prepare for talks or parts in the KM school?

several years ago, whenever i got a talk slip i would get really nervous but accept it and work on it almost immediately.

of course that was way back when i still believed it all.. now they gave me a #3 talk out of the blue about a month ago and i had forgotten all about it till the meeting night.

i really thought about not showing up at all but at the last minute, i decided to go.. so when i got there the meeting had already started and so i just stayed in the back looked at the info, found 2 scriptures and then without any notes i went up and gave the stupid talk!.

Coco Rohan & James Conran attend PRINCE concert for VALENTINE'S DAY! Hmmm... What an interesting thread. But more importantly is this picture I found and the text below it about her and her hubby.

It clearly says & I quote, "to celebrate their first VALENTINE'S DAY as husband & wife, she'll be taking him to see PRINCE, his FAVORITE musician in concert."

So when did it become acceptable to be a Jehovah's witness and celebrate valentines day? A well known pagan holiday (for the jwubs)?

How in the hell can she explain that???

I guess being famous/rich has its perks even in Jehovah land!

I don't see her commenting regularly or giving #2 talks or pioneering for that matter.

It all seems fishy to me.

WTF??

So much for being a god of love!

I don't care what anybodies reasoning on this is, it was a newborn baby!

Now I consider myself neutral on the while abortion thing but God doing is just freaking insane! I mean he is god the almighty! The all-knowing, all powerful guy in the sky who created the earth and the universe yet instead of using all his power to perhaps get that child to another home with loving parents like you know... MOSES! He has to go and kill the child!

What a truly unloving, evil, twisted, sick god I used to worship!

Elders finally took me to the back room...

after several months of leaving the meetings as soon as they ended or only staying for "the first meeting" then leaving the "second part", the elders finally cornered me at last night's meeting.. they said they were concerned about me and that being that i am a young brother in a recently divided congregation they saw so much potential in me to help out the congregation and become a ms.. i told them i was thankful for their thinking of me to help the congregation but that at the moment i could not due to my job.

then the began asking personal questions that got on my nerves.. they asked where i worked and how much i made.

they asked if i was going to college and what i was studying and for how long.

I guess the thing that got me to agree to go back with them is that they caught me off guard sort of speak.

I wasn't expecting it. There were other brothers around and I stayed with a smile on my face as I entered.

I was as respectful as I could be, and yes fading really is a game if you think about it. And it's not easy at all!

I also have a feeling they're going to try and get me again because of the unfinished/unanswered questions that they gave me but I'm not going back there again.

It's rather funny really, when the elders give you this look as if you're an evil possessed person. And all the while I just smile and show them how happy I am!

Elders finally took me to the back room...

Well I am only in for family reasons. I don't really care about any of the other people because honestly they don't actually care about you anyway... Most of them that is.

I know the day is coming for me when I'll leave but right now I'm just going on with my fade. I stopped pioneering and before the split in my hall I also stepped down from being a MS. I seldom comment or engage in meaningless small talk with people who are practically strangers who don't give a crap about you inside.

But the elders are indeed desperate for more male brothers to help them! I mean it's actually crazy how we have about 6 elders and no MS AT ALL! There's only about 8 pioneers in my hall and they're all old/jobless/on welfare/food stamps/carless people! And they want me to join!

And you guys are right, it wasn't any of their business! Actually when they asked me those questions I gave a puzzled look, as if to not understand what they were asking. Since it was literally one question after the other, I gave yes & no answers but never said to which question my answer went!

I also focused more on my job than anything else because they don't like brothers and sisters who go to college at all and didn't want to get them on my case for that.

And yeah that app is great! It works so good! I've only used it during JW moments lol like the meetings, service, assemblies, and now this.

And I also agree with you guys, I'm not going back in there with them again. Next time I'll just decline and tell them that whatever they want to tell me can be said for all to here.
