  Are the anointed really "lovely people"?

  i've personally never met any of those who claim to be anointed but the other jw's who have are always unanimous in their praise of how lovely and what wonderful people they are.

  and i don't mean the gb i mean common or garden anointed.

  i was told that when they speak about being in heaven that they almost "seem to glow".. is this right?

  We had one in our congregation when I was young. Not a congregation serving or something, nothing didn't even read on the platform. All the time Joling about flying low over later when he was a spirit.

  Then we had a DO. Very materialistic. Later disfellowshipped for being gay. Now reinstated. Still my favorite question. Were there 143.999 during his df time. Was he reemplaced? So is there one to many now?

  Then we lived as a sp couple with another sp couple, she was a partaker in her fifties. Bragging all the time that the branch would ask her opinion about matters. A big Joke.

  Then in missionary-service we had two, one is still alive I think ...the other was brother Ferrari, if such thing as heaven existed he should be there, all love and understanding.

  Than the Brooklyn brothers, we all read the stories about them.

  Kids to refugee camps?

  i was at a garage sale the other day and decided from the books that they were in a ministry.

  so, in talking to the husband, turns out that sold their house and are headed to greece with 4 kids to be missionaries to the refugees.

  4 kids.

  what's up with jw parents taking their minor children to such desolate places?

  like the english family that took their little kids to the jungles of ecuador, and the australians that took their little ones to norfolk island where hardly anyone lives, and they are the only children in a congregation of 11 publishers?

  is this a new form of child abuse?

  Yes, we had loads of americans, canadians, swedish, and other europeans. I sometimes wished I was them, choosing your own assignment, have a lot of friends (for one reason or another most of them didn't like to be friends with missionaries).

  They served mostly in the nice beachtowns...I would have done the same of course in stead of the noisy, busy capital.

  New Anti Gay Cartoon Video not available in German

  the lesson 22 video or better called anti gay video went viral.. there is another thread that main dutch media covered it in their articles.. i wanted to write to one of the biggest swiss newspapers about it.

  that newspaper also covered the controversy about the "meeting" cartoon, where the message is made that if jw children don't listen at the meetings they might get killed finally.. then i realized that it is not available in german.. it is available in so many other languages, like guarani (never heard of that language), but german is missing.. are they afraid to offer it in german?

  do they expect too much controversy in germany?.

  I think raising your kids in NY is worse for them than raising them in an average South-american town. I am not talking about SAN Salvador, but there are nice and peaceful places. At the same time they learn other languages and get to know other cultures which is an advantage for the rest of their life.

  Well fisherman, if a brother or sister waits long enough with confessing nothing will happen, no reproof, only the counsel not to do it again. Were you aware of that? It is in the KS book. If he has privilegies he won't even loose them. So it pays off being discrete 🤒

  we can tell by the old testament and other writings that the jews and israelites used a lunar calendar.

  thier neighbor to the east eventually switched away from a lunar to a solar calendar.

  experts don't know exactly when but the egyptians watching the star sirius were able to make the change as early as 2700 bc or possibly as late as about 1100 bc.
