I had four DAKS’s, five pairs of Church’s. As a reaction leaving the cult I started to dress contemporary...gave them to my parents who sent them to Bethel. I wish I had them now....

Ewart Chitty
by NoAbuse inewart chitty was appointed as secretary-treasurer , which position he held until his appointment to the governing body in november 1974.. when in brooklyn, chitty seems to have preferred younger men as roommates.
the actual charge brought to the gb against chitty was made by a former roommate and involved some sort of inappropriate conduct.
the gb concluded that chitty had homosexual tendencies, and asked him to resign.. a rare photo of chitty in happier days.

2020 Memorial Talk points for "interested persons" to raise.
by The Fall Guy in1) "what jesus gave was equal to what adam had lost—a perfect human life.".
jesus said that he came as a ransom, (matthew 20:28) but according to jw dogma, jesus' ransom gained far more than what was lost – 144,000 immortal king/priests in heaven to be precise!
adam was never going to produce such super-human offspring!

I remember, especially my wife had a gift to attract not real intelligent bible-studies but sometimes would bring 4 or 5 to the memorial, the people didn’t understand a scheisse of what the talk was about. At one year I had the talk (only elder with 100 + publishers) and had to point at my wife From the platform because this lovely couple couldn’t resist the wine.

I sometimes watch “Kitchen nightmares USA” with Gordon and, although I understand there is a show factor, I am surprised what Americans accept as food. When we went abroad in 1991, I was surprised having a microwave cooked meal in the Missionary-home by an American couple who we lived with (in fact two couples, but the other were Californians..more interested in health and food was my impression).
