16New Anti Gay Cartoon Video not available in German
by Daniel1555 inthe lesson 22 video or better called anti gay video went viral.. there is another thread that main dutch media covered it in their articles.. i wanted to write to one of the biggest swiss newspapers about it.
that newspaper also covered the controversy about the "meeting" cartoon, where the message is made that if jw children don't listen at the meetings they might get killed finally.. then i realized that it is not available in german.. it is available in so many other languages, like guarani (never heard of that language), but german is missing.. are they afraid to offer it in german?
do they expect too much controversy in germany?.

I think raising your kids in NY is worse for them than raising them in an average South-american town. I am not talking about SAN Salvador, but there are nice and peaceful places. At the same time they learn other languages and get to know other cultures which is an advantage for the rest of their life. -

How did you get that experience kc99. Or are you just guessing what elders think? I have been in hundreds of comittes, last years in appeals almost weekly, and never saw this attitude you mention here. -

Well fisherman, if a brother or sister waits long enough with confessing nothing will happen, no reproof, only the counsel not to do it again. Were you aware of that? It is in the KS book. If he has privilegies he won't even loose them. So it pays off being discrete 🤒 -

experts don't know exactly when but the egyptians watching the star sirius were able to make the change as early as 2700 bc or possibly as late as about 1100 bc.

Were you beaten as a child?
by purrpurr ini've been confronting my mother with her dubious parenting skills (abuse) of me as a child.
particularly the beatings i would get with the wooden spoon.
not a light smack but hitting me as hard as she could for as long as she could.

Well RubaDub, if that's the level over there in Florida...
Than again, there is a difference between a local part on the meeting or even a PT and a talk of this level. It shouldn't be read in a strong accent. People are travelling from far, even have to take a day off, I know that because I served there for 10 years. I am absolute sure that a lot of the dominicans from remote villages didn't even understand this read rubbish. .
