@thursday
i don't know when you wrote this but No I don't know them. Maybe they were Needgreaters at some time we had a thousand of them. Strange enough ;) all in the beach congregations.
i have been a missionary in the dominican republic for almost 10 years and i was wondering if there were any ex-missionaries on this forum.. i am back in my country now for 3 years and totally inactive.. what i noticed in those missionary-years was the lack of spiritual interest among the missionaries.. discussions were about rooms, cars and greater responsibilities, the bad territory.
and the local c.o.s and d.os.. was this only in the dr or are there other experiences??.
ere other experiences?

i pretty much did it all.
vacation pioneered as a youngster and became a regular pioneer out of school.
i became a ms then an elder.....the organization pushes you to be somebody within the confines of their realm.
Regular Pioneer, special pioneer, Bethelite , missionary.
MS and elder for 12 years.
in 1999 left missionary-service and quit as an elder 2000 and left the show in 2001. I havent regret one single day of that decision.
i am writing an article on whether c.t.
russell was a mason.
i am of the opinion that he was not, given the evidence.. i just bought b.w.

Is there a website where you can post your trolley pictures? Would be nice to see them all over the world.
with so many aging bethelites being "laid off" after years of volunteer service, what hope do they have of collecting any social security retirement?
i ask because i recently learned that my mother will not receive any government retirement benefits because she did not work enough to collect the 40 credits required.
this got me to thinking about bethel volunteers.
Sparky, that must have been your PEA.

Nothing is paid to any government. I will have a 20% less state pension when 65.
Yes Steve, Bethel and missionary-homes are a jungle. Nobody cares for each other.
in this wt literature illustration from a german kingdom hall, one can see that the two nonwestern jw's on the right are featured as needing to improve on their choice of clothing and become more american like the gobo wishes them all to be.. .. .
Do you remember those little tracts...all american carrying crates of apples, laughing in their american jeans jump-suits. Was a laugh in our congregation.
apparently jehalapeno isn't a 2nd amendment supporter either.... .
july 17 questions from readers.... the way this part is worded screams cult to me, i was quite amused.. how a christian chooses to protect himself, his family, or his possessions is, of course, largely a personal matter, as is his choice of employment.. geee!
thanks watchtower for allowing me to "largely chose my own employment" you are a generous cult lol.
They have No body-guards. Stop these stupid insinuations. Every Brooklyn Bethelite knows that's not true.
hey, ex-jw guys , .
if you believe in the bible and claim to be a christian, we invite you to attend the memorial this year in a place that.
the peoples don´t know you´re disfellowshipped and obey what jesus said in john chapter 6 and apostle paul tought in .
Lunatic it is...

What kind of question is that? The thing is, and yes I was an elder for many years, they only count the baptized parttakers from their congregation, not every lunatic that likes a glass ..
